Fantastic fun for mini RC cars!

I bought this racetrack to drive my Kyosho Mini-Z car on it. It's great fun, and focuses the driving on smoothness and consistency, rather than just a hack run around a house at random. The track surface is very grippy, but the Mini-Z cars on stock tyres can still understeer, slide and spin out. In other words, you there is sufficient challenge to keep it interesting. The side rails are made from foam, so after lots of collisions, the cars still run OK and don't seem to have any marks on the bodies. I modified the track layout a bit to suit my preference, and I will probably try a few other layout over time. It takes a while to assemble the track, but it's then really easy to separate large chunks of the track to rearrange it. The foam is water repellent - water just beads on top. My track is outside under a pergola, protected by a tarp when not in use. The simplicity of joining pieces together, including the side rails, with the benefit of a solid and great-looking product is what convinced me to buy this product.
