Les outrunners Turnigy Multistar sont conçus avec une chose à l'esprit - maximiser la performance multi-rotor! Cet ensemble moteur dispose d'une paire avec inverse filetée arbres (CCW) et une paire d'arbres filetées standard (CW). Cela leur permet d'être compatible avec les accessoires auto de serrage tels que ceux utilisés sur le DJI Phantom 2. Cela rend pour l'enlèvement très pratique et l'installation de vos accessoires à la main, sans outils!

Very good engine on my SK450 and 9x4,7 prop. Flight time is approximately 10 min 3S / 3000mAh. I think that I buy four new engines for my next quad, so I have the same engines on both the quad. If a motor goes bad, I have spare engine from the second quad. 10x4,7 propeller also works well with the engine.

Really po'd the video says these can use 'standard style' props on these motors, but none the props I use on other quads fit these motors. I guess I will have to drill them out. Their video guy should get his facts straight.

great motors, need some M3 x 5 bolts to mount them to the frame but so far these great motors are performing well on a 450 size quad

Good motors so far, no issues but some m3 bolts would be most useful, so if you don't have them, order them now

Love this setup! I am currently flying these motors in my TBS Discovery with 10/5 props. Excellent flight times!

Nice...a 4 pack of motors...with issues.
1 of the motors had 4mm bullet connectors on it and didn't match the other three.
2 of the motors have clicking bearings. I don't expect these two to last long.
1 of the motors has 1/16" of vertical play. It's a simple adjustment to fix but is an example of bad QC.

This is not a purchase I would recommend to others.

For the money, pick a set up! put these on a 500mm quad with 1047 props. 2200 20c 3cell i get 9 mins aggressive flight time.

Part 2
As advertised these are designed fit DJI-style self-tightening props. Regular props with 8mm-hub can be mounted using the supplied cone nut. That is a larger bore than most common props have, in which case they must be reamed . That must be done carefully to maintain centering and on some props might leave the hub walls too thin for safe operation. Graupner makes props with 8mm hubs but they are expensive. The recommended DJI-style props are likewise more expensive than regular ones but can mounted and removed without tools and will not spin off in flight.

Bench tests produced the following results at WOT.. << 10x4.7 GemFan prop: 15 amps, 183 watts, 820 grams thrust, 4.5 grams/watt efficiency. >>.. << 9x4.7 GemFan prop: 10.8 amps, 135 watts, 755 grams thrust, 5.6 grams/watt efficiency, the best efficiency I have seen in many tests. A DJI 9.4x4.3 self-tightening prop measured 10.1 amps and 121 watts. I was unable to measure thrust because my test stand requires inverting the prop, which I could not do in this case . eCalc returned a 4pcnt increase in grams/watt over the 9 GemFan. That made the DJI prop the best in performance and my favorite.

Note: After testing all of the motors I have one that will not spin up. Will report more information later.
