PA Nylon:

filaments PA nylon peuvent être utilisés pour l'impression des éléments qui nécessitent une grande flexibilité et une utilisation répétée comme les charnières.

Lors de l'utilisation PA Nylon il est recommandé que le lit d'impression est chauffé pour empêcher la déformation. Comme Nylon ne colle pas au verre ou en aluminium, il est recommandé d'utiliser un autre matériau que doublure pour votre lit d'impression.

Needs to be properly dried. I print at 270/50C on PVA glue + water. Print slowly for best results. For anything bigger you will need a heated chamber but small things come out ok without. Hard right after printing but soaking overnight in water makes it very tough.

I seen this on sale for less than $14 a roll so I could not pass it up! Nylon for $14 so I bought 6 of them. Believe it is PA6, so you will absolutely have to keep it dry, I use a food dehydrator for about six hours, before I print with it. if you use the method of baking it in the oven at 170f, you will have about two hours before it becomes hydrated again. Then you will need to re-bake it, it's best if you just print from a food the hydrator, they're like $30. Seen some reviews here saying it is brittle nylon, after your first done printing with it the part is brittle, within a few hours when your part becomes hydrated again it softens up a lot. It's also recommended to print with an enclosure but I haven't had any problem with printing without any enclosure.
It's a really good film it as long as you know what you were doing!
I'm printing it on my ender 3.
Bed temperature: 75c ( Glass with wood glue )
Nozzle temperature: 275-290c
Print speed: 45mm/s

Good Enough Material

At first I got very horrible prints that delaminated and cracked with very little force
Then I printed it at 290° nozzle and 110° bed with my Prusa MK3S and got much better results
It did crack, but it took a lot of force before breaking like a molded part with no delamination
When the material is re hydrated it performs even better, being more elastic, so after printing it I soak it in water for a day
Definitely not warp free, expect all the prints to end up warped then even worse when re hydrated: I'm talking about 1-2 millimeters at the end of a 100-150mm part
For the price i think I can live with this and print lots of quad parts

This stuff is not like any nylon I've printed. It warps and cracks horribly. Not flexible, it cracks like PLA. Can't get a print to stay together.
Thought I'd try it out for the $13 sale price, but it's horrible. I hope they discontinue it.

To get rid of the brittleness it needs to be rehydrated. So either leave it out for a week or so or soak it overnight. Its most likely 6,6 Nylon and if you dry it and cast/print that Nylon it needs to be rehydrated to get the strength. Also do not exceed .2mm layer height and if you do like with a bigger nozzle turn the speed down accordingly as it seems to need some time in the hotend to get all molten properly. If you do that its quite decent especially for the price.

In my opinion its a very weak nylon filament, its almost like PLA...
I have some PETG, and its more flexible / stronger .
Only the price is good but does not worth it .

Odd but useful

First the Bad. I gave 3 stars as the description and print setting advice were a joke. Like It won't stick to this and that so use something else... And the spool was poorly wound Now beyond that it sticks ok to Garolite with glue stick as a Nylon should. For a Nylon it is very brittle and hard. Most other Nylons have high durability but it is about as hard and brittle as PLA though stronger. Layer adhesion was poor until I started to get about 275. It seems to be ok at the 285 range with a decent amount of stringing but not excessive - I have seen worse. Now if you are looking for something that is pretty strong with decent layer adhesion and hard then this is for you I will use it for some annealing molds and maybe some brackets where I do not want flex. If you are looking for the standard Nylon flex like almost a semi-flex then this is not for you. But for 25 bucks a kg a useful addition to your arsenal for certain applications. Would still be nice if there were more info as to what kind of Nylon it is. And one open question is as to will the next spool behave the same way.
