La dernière version du planeur Phoenix a une envergure 1380mm et selon les versions 1600mm / 2000mm, la cellule ne faut que 15 minutes pour assembler et dure toute une vie! Les ailes et la queue sont fabriqués à partir de mousse EPO difficile. Cependant, le fuselage est fabriqué à partir d'un coup moulé super fort peau en nylon avec gabarits de contreplaqué, ce qui rend presque indestructible. Le fuselage pratiquement indestructible est lisse et rigide mais encore assez léger pour le planeur à effectuer. L'aile principale est réunie avec un longeron de contreplaqué et de l'adhésif (inclus), tandis que la section de la queue est vissée fermement en place. Les ailes sont fixés sur le fuselage en utilisant des bandes de caoutchouc qui est excellent pour un débutant, dans le cas d'une aile lourde vers le bas de l'arrivée, l'aile se détacher du fuselage et nous espérons ne seront pas brisés qui est très probable si l'aile est solidement boulonné en place.

L'aile principale comprend 1 servo par aileron pour fort mouvement de la surface de contrôle. Tous les 4 servos 9g, régulateur de vitesse de 20 ampères et sans balais outrunner sont pré-installés. Il suffit d'ajouter votre propre émetteur / récepteur et la batterie pour être prêt vol! Ceci est vraiment un planeur super fort qui vous fera voler en un rien de temps.

Having already a Skyhawk, which has an identical fuselage and tail but different wing, I was curious what this bird would be like.
The Phoenix 1380 will not disappoint you. She can stand some wind but also thermals quite well. She is agile and the rudder is so effective that you could easily fly without ailerons. Very stable flight, no stalling, a good beginner's plane if needed.
Bad points: User's manual no good, motor mounted with only 2 screws, as all holes cater for a 16/19mm mounting system while the motor mount is actually 19/19mm. Sloppy really.
The bell type motor (unknown KV) will have the wires cut through the first time the sticky tape that's holding them in place will come off. So a little engineering is called for.
Both wings came with considerable "hangar rash" and needed lots of putty. Then a servo died on the maiden. A motor short I managed to fix it. Servos look like good quality in spite of this!
The spinner/propeller/motor are not well balanced and not really powerful enough for me, maybe OK for you? Try it.

I took one of those. With 2200mAh battery it turned out that the airplane is too heavy to flight. I started it from hand and with throttle at maximum it made a graceful gliding down until landing several meters from launch. I am looking now for bigger propeller and engine.
