HobbyKing 3D Filament Imprimante 1.75mm PLA 1KG Spool (Metallic Silver)

HobbyKing sont sortis avec une énorme nouvelle gamme de 3D Filaments de l'imprimante à des prix qui vous fera l'impression toute la journée et toute la nuit.

La gamme couvre PLA, ABS, flexible, changeant de couleur, Luminous, Nylon, Polycarbonate, acétal (POM), en composite de métal et même un filament soluble dans l'eau pour les moules d'impression. Donc, il y a un filament pour chaque projet que vous avez à l'esprit. filaments HobbyKing ont un point de fusion stable, bonne forme ronde et surtout une tolérance de diamètre 0.05mm uniforme pour un débit constant.

PLA:

PLA a un point de fusion plus bas et imprime plus facile que d'autres matériaux. L'une des caractéristiques les plus importantes est que le PLA est non-toxique, et a même une odeur lors de l'impression. PLA a un taux de retrait faible et il est très rigide avec un minimum de flexibilité. Ce matériau peut imprimer des modèles extrêmement haute résolution et est parfait pour une large gamme d'utilisations. PLA est considéré comme plus fort que ABS, mais est plus sensible à la fissuration lorsqu'il est soumis à la flexion, l'impact ou les charges de torsion de sorte que les besoins mécaniques du projet d'impression doivent être évalués.

PLA a une vaste gamme de couleurs vives et d'opacité pour ce look parfait que ce soit artistique ou utilitaire, en bref un matériau idéal pour l'impression 3D. PLA peut être imprimé sans l'utilisation d'un cordon de la chaleur, et peut coller au verre ou une plaque de PCB avec un liant tel que de la colle fixatif ou blanc pour une impression sans boucle.

L'impression 3D est un amusement et passe-temps passionnant avec un large éventail d'utilisations du prototypage de pièces pour la fabrication de jouets pour les enfants. Choisir le bon filament pour votre application est très important.

It does clog easy but if you manage to get the sweet spot , it can produce a good print , would normal use this and to be honest will not get again

Best Metalic Silver PLA I ever used .... now sadly unaffordable for EU users.

I have bought and used this stuff plenty in the past. The shine it gives and the clean prints it produced were pretty much unique, even when compared to much more expensive filaments.
Sadly, HK has decided to stop selling this filament over the European Warehouse, it's now only available over the Global warehouse, making it absurdly expensive in terms of Transport and Taxes. Even more sadly, the stuff they sell at the European warehouse as alternative (Which is clearly the "Real" brand "Basic filament" series) doesn't hold a candle to the quality of the original.
VERY sad HK doesn't provide this filament over the European warehouse anymore. Not going to buy it at the current total prices.

Strong & Rigid PLA

Using this PLA for a custom NERF gun project.
This PLA is noticeably different from most as it is significantly more rigid/brittle.
Even though it is "brittle" it takes considerably more force to break than normal PLA.
However once it breaks, instead of peeling away like normal, softer PLA, it "snaps" off in small pieces.
Does not look convincing enough to be mistaken for metal (though i haven't tried sanding), still appears to be shiny silver plastic.
Pros:
+ Strong
+ Rigid (Printed piece does not flex as much)
Cons:
- Can be more difficult to work with when removing support material because of how strong it is. You end up with a lot of little sharp support material pieces on the floor to clean up. (They hurt more than Lego when stepped on!)
Print settings:
Bed: 55-60C
Extruder: 210C
If using carbon-coated glass bed, no adhesive required

HK's own PLA Metallick silver is so close to bare metal in color that it is great for models. Have been using it for 3D LabPrint planes with success.
