This was purchased to replace the transmitter I bought a couple of years ago.
It was tricky to bind it to my existing quanum reciever.
My major complaint is that I cannot purchase a new reciever, so am unable to to have one for my son.
Why is Hobby king not selling the reciever?

This is a must for each of us.
Just imagine it's the gasoline fuel meter in your car - same but in Volts.
you fly and fly, here and there a quick glance at the Quanum receiver display which is mounted to your RC transmitter, and you know exactly if you can keep on flying or it's time to go around and land.
Works perfect -:(

I have just received and tested this tx as a replacement to the one in the kit. It works with v3 of the receiver. Works as espected. The only problem is that the original one broke after some two years use. Not too good, since I wanted it to last forever; not too bad considering the low price.

I am up to the third of this transmitter, each one last for couple months only!
I did not expect it would last forever, but each one fails in less than a full season seems very unreliable or poor quality. I only fly in summer.

No blinding, LED not light up at all. Both fail in the middle of a flying season.

I purchased 2 of these and 1 of the 2 works, the one that doesn't work te light does not come on at all, why don't youll stock these in the USA ware house.
