This is a beautiful boat! Preparation starts with removing the flexdrive. I used Molyslip grease on the drive and then replaced it. The rudder assembly is next and is easy to do.
Threadlock was used on all screws and the propeller.

The water-cooling pickup tube is near to the hub of the prop so I cut off 6mm to increase the water flow through the system.

A Turnigy 3s 2200mAh Lipo is used and after a 10 minute run is only slightly warm.

If this is to be your first fast electric boat then I would suggest that you set your throttle high end point to 75pcnt and your rudder left and right end points to 75pcntand add some exponential for good measure. This will make the boat more manageable until you get the feel of it. Later you can reset the end points back to 100pcnt and get ready to seejust how fast and quick turning she is. Very dissapointed in the product....it came with the motor and esc unglued,just wiggleing around the boat....horrible glue job,spent half hour only cleaning the old glue ....the esc's return water hose is just cut in half...i guess i was just expecting more from HK.

Hi, I ordered this boat from Germany and it took only two days to be delivered.
Looks great!
I did some minor modifications, like i installed a BMS-620MG Servo and shortened the silicon tubes and rearranged them.
I would advice to check the screws and I used liquid thread lock from Tamiya.
Checking the cooling system, I found that there was a leak. There is a grub screw on the left side of the motor mount, again using thread lock and fixed it.
For the flex drive I use "robbe" shaft grease.

Spare props are available from e.g. Graupner, you only need a spacer (4mm to 4,75mm) and you can use them. Prop size is 40mm, pitch is 1.4.

I just bought this boat and find that they have now taken AU$ 58 off the price I paid about two weeks ago. I will not be too keen to make major purchases off HK in future!

Great first time boat. This is an awesome deal. The paint and decals will not disappoint. Very little build time. Easy to maintain. It will run on 3S or 4S, tape the hatch and i had very little water in mine.

Sehr schnes Boot. Qualitt und Verarbeitung in Ordnung. Liegt sehr gut im Wasser und kann problemlos mit einem 4S Akku betrieben werden.

Motor-Regler Kombi gut Dimensioniert und lsst weiterhin auch Spielraum fr spteres Tuning ;)

It's crazy fast on a 4S -2650 Mah battery : you need high discharge rate batteries otherwise the motor stops when you ask for power.
3S or 4S 2650Mah Nanotech batteries are perfect for this boat
3S = 40KM/h
4S = 55KM/h

it's pretty fine on stock setup, no need to change anything, but you need to ckeck that watercoolness system works well (don't twist or cross the water durits) before going too fast !

Supper Boot. Muss zuerst fertig abgedichtet werden. Ist leider nur aus Plastik und nicht aus GFK.
Lauft mit 3S richtig schnell, und mit 4S geht richtig die Post ab. Ca 65 kmh. Fr diesen Preis bekommt man nichts besseres. wrde es mir sofort wieder kaufen.
