Overall very disappointing.
If HK sells the Followme alias Dragonfly where are the propritory batteries as originaly advertised for $53 but good news Simtoo will sell them direct for over $100USD plus around $50USD delivery
Looks fantastic, flys unstable. Concept is great, unreliable and dangerous and almost took my head off in follow me mode.Completely boring and slow to react. I purchased the Simtoo TX and operates reasonably well in ADV mode but very short range and RTL unexpectedly. For $175 USD I thought was a bargain sadly I was wrong.The new price is listed as $595 AUS plus delivery. The Quanum Nova Pro which I originally purchased but returned due to fail to bind is a far better quad buy luckily for me HK did exchange. The Nova Pro does do what it is meant to and is very good value.Takes great pics and video especially with the Turnigy 1080 action cam.

A good deal at $175, but...

I couldn't pass it up for $175 since it is a complete system (quad, battery, charger, wearable GPS, wrist control, 4K action camera, 2-axis gimbal, propeller guards, and a case!).

The construction quality of all the components of the system is excellent and the drone itself seems to be reasonably sturdy.

The only complaints I have is in follow me mode, the quad hovers right over you and the camera has to be looking nearly straight down. There may be a way to adjust this, but I haven't had time to figure it out. Also, it has a tendency to not keep you in the center of the field of view, which is to be expected with the error(s) in a GPS-based follow me system (I assume this system uses two GPSs - one in the drone and one on your person, so there is position error from both GPSs). Follow me drones that use some sort of shape recognition may work better, but you can't beat this for the price.

At $175 this is a very good buy and I’m glad I bought it just for all the stuff included - I have used the camera on other drones and will try to adapt the gimbal to other drones as well. I don’t know if I would have been as happy if I had to pay $365.

I like the drone, but I wish I could buy the same package with an APM autopilot including APM camera control and 2.4MHz transmitter; i.e., I don’t find the follow me mode all that useful since it is kind of a gimmick that only works well when the GPS receivers have a clear view of the sky.

I would like to know the supplied camera's focal length. According to the EXIF info embedded with the photos, it is an iStarCAM camera made by CStarVision. No focal length is listed in the EXIF info.

The upload was successful, but I didn't see the file appear in the list of available files, so the folks who maintain the web page must need to approve it before they'll post it. Otherwise, download it using the link above.

The video shot with the supplied iStarCAM camera is shaky, but not too bad. In another post someone also noticed this and indicated that using a different camera with image stabilization would be better. According to the manual mentioned above, the iStarCAM camera does have stabilization, but I haven’t tried to turn it on. Also, I have an SJ5000x action camera that is about the same size, but it does not fit the supplied gimbal - the SF5000x camera is about two millimeters or more larger than the gimbal.

Great value, gimbal and camera included. Folds up into its nice little casemakes it easy to carry with you in case you need it. I found controlling it with the watch is a bit confusing, short press to RTL and hold to turn left, easy to RTL or Follow me when all you wanted was to rotate left or right. A normal radio with telemetry is available quite cheap from simtoo so it can be flown like a normal photography drone. It is controlled by an APM board so you can easily change the setup to suit yourself.

wow!, what a great deal $175 for a rtf drone with a gimbal, hd camera, gps, charger/lipo, controller and to top it all off..... free shipping!!! thanks hobbyking yet another "in your face" to big overpriced brand names. drone worked flawless right out of the box. it might have small glitches but for the cost I can definitely deal with them. this is a must buy for basic photoghrapy. if you want a drone that will do wonders then by all means spend the $1999 USD to get it. I'm fine with this drone

J'ai reçu mon drone par DHL, acheté 160€ seulement, j'ai payé 30,80€ de TVA et de droits de douane à l'arrivée en France, ce qui semble normal. A ceux qui se plaignent de ce prix, je dis : Essayez de construire un drone de ce type (surtout l'électronique embarquée), et regardez ce qu'il vous couterait au final ! Ce drone est de très belle facture, c’est même stupéfiant de voir tout ce qu’il y a pour ce prix !
Pour moi qui fait de la montagne souvent seul, ça fait de belles images !

After the first hour of the flight , I can say that it is quadcopter very stable even in strong winds . Always be safely returned to the starting point in a circle with a diameter of one meter . Photographs from the camera quanum are breathtaking. Video is slightly shaky . Better record them with a camera GoPro 3 ( she has a stabilizer ) . on the plane camera pursues the objective of a rotation is jerky . 360 panorama is fast. Quadcopter several times she returned to the starting point when the battery half . I'll watch . If they devised filming from one angle it would have been fabulous . Martin
