To complement their range of OpenTX multi-protocol transmitters, RADIOMASTER has introduced a range of receivers. These R series receivers are either compatible with Frsky D8 or D16 modes and are suitable for RC drones and aircraft, etc.

The R161-D16 FCC SBUS/S.Port receiver is a compact, lightweight full-range 16ch receiver. It is perfect for a whole range of models, has a dual format, either SBUS or S.Port, and supports telemetry and RSSI output.

Bought this receiver because of its telemetry functions. When the blue wire is connected to the smart port of the FC, a number of parameters of the drone FC are deted, of which the most useful are rssi and main battery voltage. Now I can bring back my drone before losing radio link or battery exhaustion based on warning prompts from the Tx. Unfortunately it appears that Radiomaster is no longer providing firmware maintenance or upgrade for this Rx.

Bought this Rx because of its telemetry functions. When connected to the smart port on the flight controller, the values of rssi and main battery voltage VFAS detected allowed setting up warning prompts. Now I can bring back the drone before losing radio link or battery exhaustion. Sadly I noticed that Radiomaster is no longer providing any firmware maintenance or upgrade.
