Ideal Battery for Modified Turing 9X Radio

This battery fits like a glove in my Turing 9X Transmitter which has been modified to handle extra voltage without trying to turn excess into heat. Just enough room to tuck the spare wiring away at side of battery which also stops any rattles. I have used a 1500 Rhino 3s LiFe in this radio since new but have managed to kill it by leaving it switched on once too often. But I can now use the 3s Lipo due to fitting the 9xtreme board for its telemetry capabilities. Pity they don't protect it from over discharge like the Turing 9XR battery.

Excellent Battery for Futaba 9CAP

Just installed Rhino 2620 into my old Futaba 9CAP. Used two diodes salvaged from old circuit board to drop voltage to NiMh/NiCad voltages which allows the normal low voltage alarm to function and warn at a battery voltage high enough to protect the Lipo. You can use a search engine to find out how. Battery fit with no problems including balance connector and little diode string.

changed my ageing Futaba CAP 9 from a 20 min usable transmitter into a so far 3 week 6 flying hors no worries transmitter and still showing 11.3 volts normally alarms at 9.6vols

fits the Radiolink AT9 with 5mm spare on one side no problems also with putting the battery cover back on. good long life fly also day before recharge is needed.

It fits the Turnigy 9x perfectly. I use my TX for both flying and use with a flight simulator. This has saved me big $$$ versus (8) high quality AA batteries.

Also fits in FrSky Taranis Plus (you need to solder a 2S balance connector youself, but you can buy one on HK).
This is probably the biggest lipo pack you can put inside this radio, not much space left. Had to slice the foam inside the battery cover to make it thinner, so that it is easier to close (otherwise it is hard to close, but it can close).
This battery is also 2 grams lighter than the stock 7.2V 2000mAh (so can't complain it is heavier).
In term of capacity, this represents 29.4Wh vs 14.4Wh (at least twice the capacity)
Provides over 24 hours of battery time (with backlight on!)
Another advantage is that lipo can be recharged much faster than Ni-MH, and there is almost no waste energy (Ni-MH become really warm when charging).
