Roco HO Digital Starter Train Set with Class 2043 Diesel Locomotive (OBB), 3 Freight Wagons and Z21 Digital System

A digital starter train set that is supplied with a Class 2043 diesel Locomotive, 3 frieght wagons, a Z21 digital control system with MULTIMAUS hand held controller and an oval of track.

The Class 2043 loco is beautifully modelled by Roco and is supplied in the Austrian Federal Railways livery (OBB). The electric motor has a flywheel and drives 2 axles for very smooth and controllable running even at very slow speeds. It is supplied with traction tyres, LED headlights that change with the direction of travel, digitally switched sound functions, NEM 362 close coupling mechanism, is fitted with the PluX16 digital decoder and a PluX22 electrical interface on the traction units.

The 3 double bogie freight wagons (gondolas) are also very well detailed with original style lettering and authentic livery and are also fitted with the NEM 362 close coupling mechanism. These particular wagons were mainly designed with the purpose of carrying beet.

The Z21 digital system is a modular design which is perfect for the beginner, you can start simple and then can build on it when you require more advanced features and functions. Included with the set is the very popular MULTIMAUS (MultiMouse) hand held controller which can store 64 loco's, operate 21 functions per loco including headlights, can operate magnetic devices such as points and signals and much much more. It is very simple and easy to operate and is perfect for the beginner to digital model railways. This system can be upgraded with a WiFi router which can then allow you to use a smartphone, tablet or a PC to run your railway.

Also supplied with the set are 12 R3 curved tracks and 12 G200 straight tracks which allows you to build a simple oval track to start with. This can be easily added to by purchasing extra track and pointwork so that you can expand your model railway into something more complex and fun to use and to really expand the joys of operating a digital model railway system.
