RunCam Split Mini FPV/HD Camera

The RunCam Split Mini is a smaller version of the popular RunCam Split V2. It has a 20mm x 20mm mounting pattern and can be used as an FPV camera as well as being able to record in stunning 1080p HD. The RunCam Mini is split into 2 smaller PCB's which allows it to be mounted into much smaller 90~150mm frames which normally do not have the power to carry an HD action camera. This unit supports Micro SD cards upto a capacity of 64GB, the card is held in with a metal plate to prevent it flying out in a crash and possibly getting lost. The WiFi feature of the V2 has been removed on this model as well as the audi output which means you will have no sound for FPV, but you will get sound on your HD footage.

The Split Mini is the definite solution which will allow tiny micro quads or smaller planes to capture HD footage as long as they have the room for a 20mm x 20mm mounting pattern. Excellent video resolution, upto 1080p@60fps and allows for a wide input voltage (5~17V). The lens module (camera) is connected to the processor module (PCB) via a 65mm ribbon cable, the connections are "board to board" which makes it easy to connect and disconnect. There is a small metal plate that sits on top of the PCB connector that should provide enough protection in the event of a crash, it should also stop unwanted disconnections by holding the connector firmly in place.
