Le XtremeAir Sbach 342 est une haute performance à deux places monoplan allemand de voltige et de tourisme conçue par Philipp Steinbach avec Albert Mylius et construit par XtremeAir GmbH de Hecklingen.

Le Sbach 342 a une structure composite et est propulsé par un 315 ch Lycoming. Travailler précédemment pour Walter développement supplémentaire de la série supplémentaire d'avions de voltige, Steinbach a matériaux ensemble modernes, des années d'expérience et de conception optimisée qui porte le monde l'un des avions de voltige les plus agiles jamais.

Notre Sbach 342 sort de la boîte dans un bouchon et voler configuration. Toutes les surfaces sont pré charnière, juste besoin d'un peu d'installation d'assemblage et le récepteur mineur à être prêt pour le vol. Accès à la batterie est super facile grâce à une trappe d'accès sur le dessus du fuselage qui a à portée de main peu snaps en plastique. Le capot avant et le bas récepteur éclosent disposent ces mêmes clichés rapides aussi. Les ailes sont un design qui signifie le stockage et le transport plug-in 2 pièces prennent chambre minimale. Un pack complet de matériel avec une grande feuille de décalcomanie complètent le modèle.

Battant Sbach est le vrai régal. Le puissant moteur 1000kv 4023 tire le travers tous vos manuevers préférés. Ceci est un modèle très rigide avec assez de masse pour le transporter à travers manuevers en douceur, ne flottent comme un poids léger foamies font.

Sbach 342 PNF 1100mm is certainly not for beginners or even intermediate flyers.

This model has taken a bunch of hits during the maiden / setup process. I will give it credit for being reasonably easy to repair the fuse, however is definitely needs a spar running lengthways down the fuse to address the weak point at the landing gear.

Definitely an unforgiving model with regards to CG, make sure you mark the CG points (90mm behind leading edge at cockpit) and get the balance right before attempting flight to save yourself alot of heartache.

I ran dual rates with 40pcnt throws and 70pcnt expo for low, and 100pcnt throws and 70pcnt expo in high and still found it to be plenty responsive.

I recommend hinge tape or Pivot & round Hinges (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8280__Pivot_Round_Hinges_2_5x43_10pcs_.html) on the elevator / rudder as the foam hinge didn't last more than 30mins flight time.

All in all it flys beautifully once you get it right and has plenty of power (I'm using 3s1p Turnigy 2200's happily), but be prepared to repair and replace parts during the maiden process.

Waste of money, very poor finish and build quality, missing screws. Starting building it before realizing what rubbish it was so it was too late to return it. I would not recommend this product. I am very disappointed.

Haven't flown yet but finished putting together. Some servo horn screws were missing, but I had some on hand. 4 screws for mounting the wings were too short but found some at local stines , found some 3mmx50mm that worked. I also had to put servo extension leads on wing servo's because I am using separate channels for them. A y lead was included that will work fine if you are using one channel for the wings. Tail section seems a little flimsy because only 2 small screws hold the horizontal and vertical together. I will probably epoxy the section together after I test fly, it should be fine. Everything else seems to be good, except I'm not that good at putting all the decals on, took me a couple of hours just for that. For the money it's a nice plane and should fly great. I really like the cooling design that runs in from engine cowl and exits through mid tail section. That should keep the electronics cool.

It's a Volantex product. The plane looks nice and flies ok, but the left wing is missing the spar tube!!! had to heat up the metal spar and make my way in the foam wing core.

Sbach 342 PNF 1100mm Foam was not straight anywhere nothing lined up including elevator and the rudder wasn't anywhere near straight I've got plenty of hobbyking models but this one was the most disappointing. Also lost the battery hatch first flight.

Well it look good so far but it did not come with a rubber and tail parts now I'm looking to make one or if I can get one sent to me I wish I can fly it but it's looking like I just payed $298.00 for 3 batterys and a rubber less airplane

Nice looking model - decal cutting is a bit of which is a shame - almost better if they didn't cut - I modified the rear servos (removed mount, moved one up and the other down) so only the horn sticks out to make the thunderbolt decal tidier. Model looks good - fittings are poor though as tail screws supplied didn't fit so I glued the tail on and only one wing had the fittings to accept the wing bolts

Nice plane!!! Installed Turnigy 17g mg servos flies on rails,3d. Epoxy together and Fly. Stop Whining about the basics of putting a plane together!!!!
