One of the best value glider I have ever owned, its easy to fly and floats around in light airs with a 1300 3S and when the wind comes up, put a 2200 3S in for extra penetration into the wind.

Its also a very stable camera platform and I have many a good video with the HK HD wingcam mounted just above the cockpit with velcro.....

Top Glider at a great price..... :-)

Great plane! I'm getting back to the hobby after 25 years, I practiced with a flight simulator and afterwards soloed the skyclimber, knees jerking. No problems at all, it flew straight from the box, no trim needed.
The plane is easy and enjoyable to fly, this is my first EPO model, all previous were balsa/monokote, it has endure some landings that would destroy a balsa plane and it just got a few knicks.
The aileron hinges broke after a dozen flights, easy repairable.
I fly on the hillside, it floats and glides brillantly, low passes down the slope, engine cut are my favorites.
Great as a second plane for beginners.

I ordered on the 22nd of June and it was at my house by July 2, not too long to wait coming from HK. Maiden fllight was on 4th of July. Took about 5 minutes to put the plane together at the field and range check the radio. The flight was great right out of the box, only a few clicks of rudder trim and it was tracking straight and flying level. I launched at about 2/3 throttle with only a slight toss and the plane climbed easily and quickly. I didnt do anything too aerobatic, just circled the field a few times to see how it was going to handle and then took it as high as I was able to see it. The landing was great, I flew about 2 feet off the ground for the distance of 2 football fields before bringing it down to the grass, never tried the flaps because it came in so slow that it did not need them (might be helpful on a small field). The ESC was hot after the flight, so I will be looking into venting the canopy. The only complaint I have is with the transmitter, the gimbal for the throttle had no tension on it at all. I had to hold the throttle in place for the entire flight, when I let it go it would drop all the way to zero throttle. If you are on the fence about buying this plane I can assure you that you will not regret it. $100.00 for a RTF glider with a 2 meter wingspan and a 2.4ghz digital transmitter, you cant go wrong, try getting a Radian for this price! I bought this plane (actually from Denmark) and it works good! No problems so long. The quality is just awesome! I think this is the best Air glider you can find, the price was 150usd when I bought mine, but now only 100usd=good price! The only bad is the shipping cost, it sucks! It comes well packed, very well packed! It is very fun to flight this plane, it has speed if you want, and it has wonderful glid-function! I can flown around 10minutes with standard battery, sometimes you maybe want to do a loop and that cost battery, but when I only fly with wind I can fly very long! Everything works like everyone sade PERFECT! If you have money just buy this plane I promes you, you will not be disapointed.
And I know, excuse me for my bad english, Im just 15 years old and live in Sweden!

I love this glider. Thermals wonderfully, has a good climb out, can float or be rather fast.
The bad, I have a twisted fuse, a few degrees that is very noticeable on take off and climb out, flies fine but it has to increase drag since I have to trim to make it fly right.
I have done a lot of work though, I have replaced the stock motor with a Super Tigre .10 and a 30 Amp ESC, also placed a Orange RX with Sat. in it works wonderfully.
Only hit is the fuse, and weak rudder, had the hinge break once, re-did with packing tape and all is good.

You could enjoy this great looking plane, but that's assuming HK can actually get it to you. And in the event it takes them 4 months, they will charge you an additional $44 for their incompetence. Enjoy!

I unboxed my skyclimber today and took for first flight when battery was charged, Very stable aircraft for its size, tho few helping pointers for anyone looking into this order, First noticed that ESC and motor both were hott after steady power, so needs airflow. I added custom air scoop infront of canopy to help with the flow, Second the canopy itself, NEVER! trust magnets, i pulled a slow backflip (while stock modle) and air caught small lip and flipped it off and batery came lose from holder and fell to the ground while above trees, EEK! so i glued a hinge on the frontside of canpoy and made better holder, for people who like to keep it simple all you need is an elastic around cockpit to hold... but aside from my issues this is a great plane, flaperon's are very helpful to slow this bigrig down, shipping was a bit rough but well thats life hope this review helps anyone lookin into it :)

AMAZING QUALITY...I PUT IT TOGETHER, AND WHEN I GOT IT IN THE AIR IT REQUIRED NOT ONE CLICK OF TRIM ANYWHERE. THE TRANSMITTER IS OF BETTER QUALITY THEN MOST RTF AIRCRAFT. FLIGHT TIME IS FOR DAYS IF YOU CLIMB OUT THEN LOOK FOR A THERMAL THEN CLIMB OUT AGAIN. EASILY AN HOUR WITH 8 CLIMB OUTS. SLOWS UP WELL EVEN WITHOUT THE FLAPS.

My first 2 flights were scary because I only flew ailerons on sim. 3 and 4 were awesome. Flight 5 my thumb caught the left aileron wires and disconnected them. This ended in a crash snapping off the nose. I glued it back with Gorilla Glue and all electronics good. I recommend taping the loop of wires since they can't be tucked into the fuse. This plane and radio is everything I dreamed of in a glider. I love the radio. Everything comes set to go with a little trim. So.......o quiet! The flaps are cool. Now that I've initiated it with a crash I can enjoy flying it with no worries. It's going to be my favorite plane for years. PS when installing the tail screw work over a cloth in case you drop it. Hard to find in the grass. Had to use my metal detector to find it. Thanks so much HK

Great aircraft. Super windy on the maiden but great take off's and landings. Fly's great inside and outside loops, barrel rolls, and inverted flight. I think it is bit light for the winds I had today, 25-35 MPH winds makes it just stall and fall in this wind. Had one piece that was a little off, but it was an easy fix. The included balance charger does both 2 and 3 c's but and works perfectly off a 2.5a 12v power supply, not so good on a .5A though. Flys better than a Radian pro for a fraction of the price.
There were a couple of small dings in the wings out of the box, but nothing that is a big deal. Flaps work great, although one servo is a little noisy, thinking I might just change them out, and planning on getting a Spektrum RX to swap out. Uses T connectors for the battery, I have not had the typical issue with the ESC.
