I got this product a while ago and I've needed to glue it together a few times and support the wing with a good carbon spar but apart from that flies like a dream and after trimming it out is grate fun to tear around the sky in.

I love the plane, it flys great and really fast, however the main wing is too weak. i can NOT handle any G forces. first flight it was awesome, no issues, second flight i had it really high and did a dive bomb and i did not pull out of it very fast at all i watched the wing go from straight to a V. luckily the wing did not snap completly. i was able to land it. i inspected it and the wing has several cracks in the bottom of it under the fusilage. this plane will never fly again. it is now just wall art at my house. But on the same note i also have the corseair version and it flys awesome, no issues. i would rec. to not get the spitfire because the main wing is not strong enough.

Bought this plane on sale for $60. Awesome deal. 4S power, this plane is super fast. Easy 90 MPH. Mine, however, did not last but one flight. I was doing a high speed banking turn and the wing and tail section broke in mid air. Not much left after that. What an adrenaline rush! I will buy another. Probably do some of my own carbon rod reinforcement. It is nothing special, you get what you pay for.

Very fun and very fast. Great value for the cost. Add 4-cells lipo, tx, rx and a ferrite ring, and just enjoy the speed!

On special so I bought 2
I have done about 6 flights now, was just getting different mixes sorted, flaps, torque roll and take off I use a bit of up elevator.
Then the fun started at full throttle I got a bit mixed up and applied to much elevator on a turn. The wings had lots of bend, not sure why they didn't break off.
I have added 2 flat carbon strip on edge to underside of wing. Will see tomorrow how it goes.
The plane flys well, no bad stall issues, fast but can be flown slow, map flapperons and has a good glide ability. Will try to slop it when I get the correct wind

Bought two of these so that i could learn to fly with ailerons and i just followed the book and i havent even needed to open the second one yet it flys brilliantly they are so much fun and addictive i have just bought the corsair funfighter. These things are so fast and responsive im deffinatly going to buy more.the only thing i can suggest is i added a carbon fibre rod (3mm)(epoxyed it)to the bottom of the wing to make it more stable after that i have never had any problems also if you are learning with a funfighter 6x4 apc props are deffinatly recommended

I picked up this one during the BIG sale for $30! Add in the shipping to AUS plus exchange rate, total is less that AU$65. In my opinion a super bargain. I would say I'm an intermediate pilot (no expert), have built some scratch builds and have repaired a lot of foam planes.

In my opinion the Spitfire Fun Fighter rate as follows -

Packing is ok. Large box with each part individually bagged and taped into place. No damage to foam, but the prop fitted had one tip broken off. No big deal as you get 2 spares anyway.

Build process was very straight forward all of the servos are installed and the aileron horns, clevises and push rods are fitted. Make sure you fit the elevator horn, clevis and push rod before you glue the vertical stabiliser into place.

I read a lot about the CofG for these Fun Fighters not being as published, but I balanced to the recommended 38mm anyway. Maidened on 3S 1000 mAh 25C Turnigy (plus extra weight to balance). Unfortunately I had the elevator set with a little up (and it does not take much). Plane was very tricky to control straight and level and ended up stalling trying to bring it in for adjustments, nosed hard into the ground.

I am impressed with the overall strength of the model, broken prop and a crack through one wing tip.

Easy repair, new prop and adjusted the elevator for a second flight.

Second flight was excellent! Fast enough for me on 3S for now. 5-6 minutes of mostly conservative throttle with a few quick passes. Glides really we

Got her today. Well I did not pay a lot but I would have liked landing gear. I just though it would have come with that. Still in box but arrived unbroken, The parts look nicely painted. A little let down!
