good for price. absorbing shock well while dirving on road. but the spring is little weak to keep the body safe from the landing after small jump. but if you replace spring more hard one the shock cap will be detached from damper body :(

It is an magical lipo. If you use it in longer period You'll be amazed how nice performance it is. Shiny finish, nice cables, I like it a lot.

I bought these because a buggy came with a broken one ( oil was all through box) and HK wanted whole car sent back to them. Seems to be a massive waste of time for a $4 shock set when you use buddy code!, come on HK, use some common sense.

Great price. Maybe you don't like to rebuild your shocks so buy these. Buy a few sets and learn how to rebuild shock too

These shocks are cheap, reliable and easy to fix. The exploded parts view does not show the bottom seal - it consist of two o-rings, plastic guide and metal retainer.



Shocks in Trooper may be easy damaged in a crash so I would use these 2 dollars a piece shocks rather then expensive aluminum upgrade parts. I bent 2 shafts already but they are easy to be replaced with spare part 30406. Top plastic cap can pop-up in extreme stress (like in a crash) but without damaging the thread. Refill with oil and screw it back - no problem at all.



I keep few of these shocks as a spare part for easy swap at the field and rebuild damaged ones later at home. I believe they are originally filled with oil weight 50 but I found they work the same when filled with Sig Castrol oil - one bottle for few bucks gives you a lifetime supply.
