I bought 2 of these. Torch function doesn`t work on them. Instructions are vague. I charged them before use.Lights dont do what the instructions say they will..I have my doubts that they will last very long..The glow isnt very bright..

Continuing from 16th August :-
It did need charging before use. After about 8 hours on charge, the blue LED came on as as per the instructions and the glow works fine, so have revised the rating. My only complaints are the poor instructions, the failure of the torch function, and the cost of shipping to UK via USA.

The Super Glow Driver worked OK for the first day at the flying field (except for the torch), but the second day ( today) it refused to work at all, but the red LED flashed briefly, which according to the instructions meant it needed charging. It is now on charge, and, again according to the instructions, the red LED should be flashing, but it is on constantly. Ignore the one crown rating - I would give it nil as being totally unreliable!

Ordered another, after binning the first (maybe I had damaged it).
This time I had to pay £17.72 Import VAT and brokerage charges, even though I ordered it from the UK warehouse!
Again, the torch function failed after one use (not important), but again its charging indications are not as the instructions, and I do not know whether it needs an initial charge or not.
At least, on bench testing, the glow function seems to work OK so I will use it until it needs recharging, when the red LED should blink several times, then go out.

So far (after about three sessions at the field, and a maximum of 10 starts, I am disappointed. Maybe it has a malfunction, as it seems to be unreliable, especially when being charged, when the LED indicators do not behave as described in the instruction leaflet, which is difficult to understand. The built-in lamp doesn't work (not that I need it).
Also, the unit gets warm on charge, which is worrying.

Really nice product. LEDs are bright enough in the sun. I tested it on the bench with various glow plugs and the unit seemed to know how to adjust among hot, medium, and cold. Very impressive case and included hardware. Best money I've spent in a long time.
