Excellent props for a tricopter of mid-large size. Cheaper than most anything else, tougher and stiffer than EPP, but less brittle than APC. And certainly cheaper! Not perfectly balanced, but I've only had one out of about 20 be too far gone to achieve very good balance. They do break, particularly when cold, but they're above average in terms of impact resistance. I've used them to "mow" fields of long grass and weeds in winter, and although HK's APC E copies were heavier and better at buzzing the field (fun game, try it) these provide a more stable 'copter with their lighter weight. The 9x4.7 is a better choice for smaller tris with lighter weight, as lighter props can change speed faster and provide better stability, but my first multicopter was a heavy wooden homebrew and did better with these. I was down to my last 3 when I rebuilt the tri into a knockabout wooden quad. I'D LOVE THESE IN PUSHER VARIETY, I'D BUY 20 PAIRS!

Bought this prop for my Yak54 "Unbreakable". Performance is great with a 30A BEC, 1000mah Nano-Tech and 2209 1050KV Turnigy.

My friends @ the field fly APC and pay 4 times the price of one of these for no reason.

I'm very satisfied with the overall handeling of this prop. The model hangs great with 1/2 throttle, not too much noise and it even survives several close encounters with the ground :-)

I have made over 80 flights with these, and enjoy them very much.

Strong, well made prop, perfect for multicopters.



If only HobbyKing would carry the pusher version, I wouldn't have to order them from Germany at 5 a piece.
