    Very bad motor. Heavy vibrations at half throttle (3S Lipo 1500mAh) cause the shaft to get loose. Results in loss of most thrust and a crash.

    The ESC seems okay, but it's a bit heavy.

    I ordered 2 of these combo's one is in a combat foamy and the other is an foamy bi-plane. Combat set up motor did get warm a little.. Esc didn't get warm at all. Ran a 3 cell 1000mah lipo from HC. only major complaint the shaft on motor broke, but was able to still use it. Maybe they shouldn't make the shaft so long.

    I had some problem with the motor. The bearing are not firmly set in the stator and the rotation is noisy.

    Otherwise the combo is ok

    great value for money , using this in my GWS slow stick , it now leaps into the sky , nice one HK

    The wires on these are a little brittle but a little hot glue works to protect that. The other thing that I do is put some hot glue in the set screws on the side before I fly b/c when they come loose is when you really do damage to the wiring.

    What a great little combo for such a low price.

    Fitted it to a Slowstik and it improved it by a mile.

    Motor is almost noiseless at about 1/2 throttle.

    Will certainly purchase another soon.

    I bought two sets at this price for my twin engine DeHavilland DH89 project.

    I was'nt going into electric planes due to cost,But since I found Hobby King its going to be a fun hobby.

    It's very good choice for noobs :), I'm using it in my trainer (700g) and it's enough power.
