using this on my trex 450 pro clone
first 1 crown off for no 3.5mm bullets

I replaced my align 3500kv with this and WOW its a rocket
if your not getting real power you did something wrong

I'm using a 13tooth pinion and in idle up i'm spinning 3400rpm using castle ice 50 for esc in governor mode in a punch out with 11 pitch max power was 439 watts at 40.3 amps engine temp never went over 120F max RMPs reached was 3449 (All numbers from the data log in the ice 50) (do NOT run a 40amp esc if you like hard 3d with this motor) How long it will last will have to be seen but for 15.00 its a no brainer going to order another one, before installing I put 1 drop of oil on the motor bearing as I do with all my motors. I have a brand new scorpion 2221-8 in the box and its going to stay there, might return it or sell it off. this motor is all you need, beware at 3200 rpm, fly only GOOD main and tail blades I actually had a set of carbon tail blades fly apart at 3400rmp(on the head) running stock plastic now with no problems.
probably one of the best cheap finds i have found for my 450 clone

Great with a 10T pinion for heli scale applications where weight and temperature are a problem. Program your ESC for soft start in order to protect the heli's main gear.

It really give more rpm, but less torque than stock copterx motor.
If you get high timming you will have a barbecue

I do not recommend this, it really have lower power than stock copterx 3550kv motor.
I tried the different configurations in esc, but nothing helps, even with another 60A esc.

Ce moteur est surement un bon moteur lorsqu il marche. Le probleme avec le mien, c est les aimants qui sont mal colle. Resultat moteur hs avant meme de pouvoir faire un vol.Le service qualite est deplorable.C est un coup de poker, vous pouvez tomber sur une bonne comme sur une mauvaise serie.

I have purchased this motor and put in in my CopterX 450. Really nice. Plenty of power. I have powered it through a 45Amp Trust ESC. Draws 38Amps full throttle.

Great motor. Was missing gold plugs so i had to get those from hobby shop. Was missing mount kit too.
