I have bought several of these ESC’s for use with different brushless motors , specifically to use in converting plastic model boats and ships to RC. Given the weight restrictions that such conversions have it’s a fine balance with batteries , and motors and the power requirements that this ESC provides both the power rating and special features, waterproof , forward and reverse that makes this a perfect choice for my projects.

Not a single programming option without card

The ESC might even be good, but it is disappointing/deceiving that not a single option can be programmed with the Tx, but only with its own special card. A card is supposed to make programming easier or to enable more options, but to make it mandatory is simply a SCAM!

Okay but has issues

This ESC has an issue with powering up the Rx when trying to bind to a new model on the Tx. The only way I was able to connect the ESC was with a Rx that was bound to another model. Im assuming Rx's need to be bound using an outside power source which is inconvenient.
The description states that the ESC can be programmed with the Trackstar Program Card...... Not true it can only be programmed with the Trackstar (WATERPROOF) Program Card.
The ESC comes with the Motor Timing set to the highest level, which is probably not a good thing and may leed to some burnt up motors if temperatures are not monitored regularly.
