This module plugged into my 9XR easily and securely. It works and looks great. However I am concerned about the range of it. I am only getting about 100 meters with it. I lose signal and have had a couple of crashes. When I use the 9X type module with external antenna, I routinely fly out 400-500 meters with out problems.

Hi, It work perfect with my 9XR-Pro. I fly only in LOS actually but 100m range minimum are tested fine ;) The receiver that I use with is the RX-9X8Cv2 and this is a great couple for some euros.

These modules DON"T work on the 9xr-pro unless you update the firmware! same problems occur as the flysky modules, when I put this module in my pro I could no longer switch it off!, I see by other reviews it's works on the 9xr ok, just not the standard 9xr-pro :-(my last review was removed by HK lets see how long this one lasts!

I bought this for my 9xr-pro, BUT it has the same problems as the flysky module! it wont work properly in a 9xr-pro untill you update the firmware in the 9xr-pro!!!! I am no longer able to switch the transmitter off, I have to wait for the no use timer to cut in before it will shut off the transmitter!!!! .......DONT BUY THIS MODULE FOR THE 9XR PRO IT WONT WORK PROPERLY!!! I now have to put my frsky module back in the 9xr-pro and pay double $$$ for the Rx's...not happy Jan! more cra p for the j unk box....lucky it was cheap, can be a spare for my 9xr :-(

The module engineering looks good. Also a very positive fit when plugged into the Tx module bay. No more dodgy RF connections (courtesy of re-used 9XV2 hacked modules, cannibalized from 9X Txs to put up with)! The range looks good and I think the reliability will be far superior to what I've had to put up with to date. This product is waayy late however (by a couple of years or so??).

I'd personally like to see an AFHDSV2 module for the 9XR/9XR Pros, (as an entry point into Rx telemetry data), without having to change Txs.

great product.worked straight away in my 9xr with turnigy rx and the hobbyking 6 channel v2 rx.so far so good.
