Love the heli...and yes you can change the remote to left hand throttle. Very durable....I am not the best heli pilot and the bird has seen some good ones on asphalt...very impressed. Order a couple tail booms, I DIDNT and have shortened mine twice, about an inch total, but still flies the same. Very powerful tail rotor and plenty of power on the main. Love it and would deffinately buy another.

Received yesterday charged and fly..takes a few flight to get used to..4th flight inverted with ease..the easiest inverted ever..lightweight and resistant to wind..I like it very much..punch a little tail wag..but nothing big..recomended

Received today, charge the batteries and fly out of the box. A little tail wag when punch but fly beautifully without any other problem. Turning the idle up but no 3d yet. Need to get used with the flying characteristic. Awesome little helicopter.

Sorry guys this is a re-post to my previous review cause I forgot to rate it.

Well all I have to say is the FBL 100 is a truly amazing heli. Just unbox, charge and fly ! Absolutely amazing for the size and price ! I am no guru and have just started with an Align 250 FBL and after one flight decided I didn't want to crash it cause I had too much invested so decided to go with the FBL 100 and it was the best decision ever.

The key to having it fly well is to make sure that when connecting the battery, that the Heli is on a level surface with the main rotors spread.. Make as little movement as possible while connecting the battery lead and let the gyro initialize. This is very important as with FBL the initialization is everything. Once that is done remember that you should not spend too much time on ground, FBL's are designed to continuously stabilize based on last A/C attitude so the best is to bump power to just below 1/2 power and get airborne and then simply enjoy the unbelievable stability of this mini monster.

Also I did not mention that the supplied radio is of above average quality and the gimbals are really smooth allowing very precise control which is needed for consistent flight control. Enjoy !!!

I reccomend.
Great price, my first go with 'e' or flybarless ~ amazing, well short of light on skids on either front skid and slow piro hands off the controls, way way tighter than my kasama / R50 / 9252's. sometimes does a ugly wobble while doing this.
Good lock in tail during hover and slow ~ medium sideways fff, I'm yet to fly fast fff. Punch in full power while at a hover and the tail is overwhelmed. I've done a couple of loops and half rolls but very turbulent conditions so hardly fair to blame the tail. Tail sounds like a honey bee.
Only a slight vibe <~ 1mm amplitude at base of vertical fin.
Canopy and skids appear still.
Wire from tail motor to board could do better.
It'd be nice if a module would go in my turnigy 9x so I could manipulate the curves.
Alot of stiction in rear swash control ball so quite busy to maintain a tight hover. Have to be quite quick if changing tv stations while in a hover.
Brushless main and tail is in the post, hope I dont need to program it. More info on the esc would be appreciated.
Sometimes the wee brain gets totally fecked up about what on the level is as you first spool up to flying revs and tries to tip over which sucks.
Make sure it always binds the same with the half doz blade kicks otherwise it can and the full ugly thrash and beat on the floor with no let up.
Buy two so you can keep playing while the glue sets.
Buy 6 tail spare b

- apprentissage rapide par rapport au 450
- pales de rechanges rotor de queue biellettes
- Encaisse bien les crashs ( sans aller jusqu'au mur pleine balle, faut pas deconner quand meme hein )

Contre: - Bulle un peu chiante a mettre en place (sauf si vous avez de petits doigts agiles), mais la je pinaille.
- radio fournie avec peu de reglages. On peu meme dire sans reglage.
- modif en mode 3 un peu galere ( "t'avais qu'a apprendre a piloter en mode 1, couillon !!" :)...)

Je decide de commencer les translations et la c'est la revelation ! Quelle facilite!
Rien a voir avec mon 450 avec lequel j'ai les mains moites et le coeur qui s'emballe a chaque translation.
Avec cette bestiole cela devient facile, agreable d'enchainer les passages rapides, les 8 a plats et meme de tenter de beaux virages inclines.
Et tout ca sans avoir peur de casser.
J'en suis meme arrive a une folie, tenter un stationnaire de face! INCROYABLE vu mon pietre niveau en helico. Impensable avec mon 450.
Je vais enfin pouvoir progresser rapidement en helico grace a ce moustique.
Ce que je fais en simu va se traduire immediatement de maniere concrete avec cet helico, chose impossible avec mon 450, trop de stress, trop peur
de casser ou de blesser quelqu'un.

Evidement il faut voler relativement pres de soi car il devient tout petit et difficile a visualiser, mais quelle polyvalence!
En plus il tolere tres bien le vent.
Je n'ai pas tente le mode 3d, je laisse cela a d'autres pilotes plus doues que moi, en tout cas en mode normal il me va tres bien.
Je regrette juste qu'il ne se bind pas a ma turnigy 9X, j'ai essay en vain.
Peut-etre que Mr hobbyking nous concoctera un module flybarless compatible.
Au final achetez-le sans hesitation aucune !
