High-End, hm! The finishing layer of clear coating has run in several places, while other places hardly have any coating. But the grommets are included, they were a very tight fit in the canopy (small holes) but in the end fit nicely and the rubber withstood that ordeal, so hope they will last a while. The holes are a bit far aft, I would have liked them 2mm further to the front, but with the battery in place, there is no chance the canopy can get loose. This canopy fits my T-Rex 450 Pro well apart from that, no touching the gears either. In the end, you get what you pay for, this product is still recommendable due to its low price.

Just got this today, actual weight is 89.6 grams. Mine came with liquid paper inside and the paint is not smooth. You can tell where the paint ran down as the large drops of paint actually just dried there. Canopy is okay. Fiberglass is a little bit flexible so this helps a bit as I hate those brittle canopies. Five bucks may be a better price on this though.

Received this canopy this week and had a chance to look it over closely.Fiberglass forming seems to be well done and is fairly flexible.It appears to be a epoxy resin based fiberglass due to its flexibility rather than polyester resin which would be a lot stiffer and crack easier due to flexing.The down side to this canopy was the degree of warpage on the back sides and the lack of QC in the prep department before painting.Mine was all lumpy on the nose end and got painted over just the same.This should have been caught by QC before going into paint and dealt with.I expected slightly better than this for a "high end" advertised canopy.Overall though,good enough for anyone learning to fly and looking for something a little snazzier than the stock HK-450 Pro plastic canopy.The fit on the HK-450 Pro kit is bang on.No wondering and guessing involved here.
