sehr guter GesamteindruckThis Motor is running very good. We use 5 of them since a year now in beginners aircrafts for instructor / Trainee flights and now issues so far. We operate it with 3S and 10x6 prop on a ~1.2Kg aircraft with 1.4m wingspann. Flies wonderfull and has power enough, nearly vertical.The right choise for my "Phoenix 2000" glider. Its weight is important rispect the original (78gr vs 40gr) but his power, his solidity, his structure is very very valuable.
You don't need to change the original 30a ESC because the class of this motor don't need it. Consider the plus of a 4mm shaft, in case of crash not easy to see it misaligned but the compromise has said, the final weight.
In my Phoenix i solved moving the battery holding 2cm back in the fusolage , restoring the original Center of Gravity.This has been in front of acromaster and its been working pretty good :) 12x6 with 3s,and around 40A max,or 13x4 and same max amperage. Bearings are silent enough,and no extra vibrations...............................................THis motor is nicely finished. Runs very good. Accessories could be more precise. Prop-adapter was nos usable. Motor is fine, acc. are not. Comes with 3,5mm plus allready soldered on.Very good quality and price..................................................................Bought one for a funcub. At first look ok motor.
Had some play in bearings straight out of the box, after few flights started to make noise (vibration) in flight. In a bit hard landing the shaft of the motor broke from e-clip groove.
Unfortunately I'm not very happy with this motor.
I use it on my 1.4m flying wing, 1.1kg, as a pusher:
10x6, 3s, ~25A max
10x7, 3s, ~27A max
The overall quality feels good but I only have about 30 minutes of flying with this motor.
