I bought 4 Servos for a Mini DLG. Checked on 1s Lipo at 4.2V with Graupner GR12 Hott receiver. First Servo was completely dead, two others where shaking constantly, the last one seemed to work, but with no accuracy at all. I won't give it a try on a plane. As shipping to England for warranty refund is too expensive, its a complete loss! I can NOT recommend these Servos!I wanted to like this servo. The housing came apart and the mounting tabs cracked on all three servo's that I installed in a helicopter. I can not recommend this servo for anything but the smallest most delicate models. They function well and are fast, but the housing is very very delicate. I can assure you I didn't mistreat them in any way and did a careful install. Eh what can you do?2 out 5 have jitter, I guess this is a pot related issue.
Probably I will won't by them anymore and switch to other servos... A bit disappointed I would say.
Extremely small servos and cheap for metal gear. The built is good and the servos have high torque for this small size.
Nevetheless the jitter is totally crazy on all 4 servos I bought, I have never seen jitter this bad before. They are totally useless in any application where prescision is needed.Sorry, can't give more than one "crown" for this servo. It is not usable because of the highest jitter I've ever seen on a servo. I tested it with two different RX and with two different servotesters. I even checked different working frequencies. But nothing helps against this jitter.I have build the second plane with this servos on all surfaces. First a CLIK NG then an Eraser V3 EPP. Servos are very precise, fast, and without gear slope. BEC is the one in the Plush 10A, powered from 2s/260mA.I baught 4 of these, they are indeed very smal and light but thats about it...they are unreliable, and highly inaccurate...3 of the 4 i baught barely find there positon, and if only with lots of jitters...and even the fourth one start to jitter after a while unless you place it on its neutral positon (no matter if a servo tester is used or your TX/RX)...for use on controlsurfaces or other steering funktions totaly useless...mabye they work on flaps or some other special funktion that is not vital in any way to your model...so I CAN NOT recomment these.Really much better than HV version of the same servo. All 4 that I purchased - works, Zero is stable. Very thin - I use they on glider aileronsThis is an excellent servo. It has more strength than an hxt900 at a fraction of the weight. Excellent buy overall.First impression: not so bad like his HV counterpart ! Resolution, power and speed seems equal but somewhat bigger deadband, circa 5-6 microsec and not equally distributed among end positions. 2*4 stars, and one 3 stars due to price. -
