I give it 3 stars its goed in bild quallety but its going only 120 degreesee thing:1401116 on Thingiverse. I have designed a Mobius Pan/Tilt mount specifically for this servo that supports lateral loads to reduce any wobble. Great for the Bix3After buying another 180 degree servo that did not rotate 180 degrees some time ago, I decided with some trepidation to try again, I am happy to report that this one does indeed rotate 180 degrees :)Using for FPV camera pan servo. Perfect!powerful and well made servofr diese Gre ein gutes Servo.I bought this servo to use as a camera pan servo and it works perfectly, even giving more than 180 of rotation.
However, there is one slight downside and that is the gear train is NOT 100pcnt metal! The main compound geartrain IS all metal but the pinion gear, mounted to the motor, and the small counter gear, from pinion to compound gear train, are made out of plastic.
Also, the diameter of the output spline is considerably smaller than your standard micro 5-10g servo splines, so it might cause complications in the future if you break or lose the supplied horns. This servo stands on a nano-size plastic shaft, 1 mm of diameter.
There are three shaft, two metallic and this one in plastic. Also the first gear on the motor is plastic, but the weak ring is the thin plastic black shaft.
See the photo in the files section, I broke it after less than one hour of life.
If you are sure you don't ever go over the max torque for a second, maybe this servo can do its job.
Just remeber that your entire building stands on a microgram of plasticGot two of these servo's, the first one burned out the circuit board and the second stopped working after about 40 cycles, the reason it stopped was that it is not fully metal gear, the input pnion and the first idler gear are nylon and the first idler gear is mounted on a plastic post (which broke), the rest of the geartrain is very sturdy.Good strong servo the same size of the standard MG90S servo, so it's odd that the spline is the size of the 5g HXT50 servo. I was hoping to just swap out this one for the mg90s I'm using as a pan servo, but I'm gonna have to do minor surgery to swap out the arm too. Not a big deal, but strange IMHO. Still a good piece of kit.
