Le RV-4 est l'un des plus réussie et la meilleure vente "maison-construit" dans le monde, le RV-4 est un avion de voltige qui est tout à fait capable en termes de cross-country, en fait, ce modèle particlar est basé sur la RV-4 utilisé par Jon Johanson pour son célèbre Millenium 2000 Tour du Monde Solo.

Ce grand ARF recherche est construit en utilisant une construction semi traditionnelle bâchés lumière plis / balsa pour une combinaison de faible poids et de force. Le revêtement est imprimé pour donner une finition détaillée qui comprend des lignes de panneaux et rivets tandis que la finition à haute brillance permet un nettoyage facile et une excellente durabilité. Le RV-4 est livré avec un kit de matériel très complet qui comprend un moteur / moteur unique de pare-feu système de montage soit pour incandescents ou de puissance EP trains, un spinner en alliage, réservoir de carburant et le moteur monte, lourds et anodisé chapes et tringles, etc. le RV-4 est également pratique, la queue est amovible et les ailes sont un bouchon dans l'arrangement, le modèle dispose également robuste principal sous-chariot et une roulette de queue orientable.

Looks as good as it flies and flies as good as it looks. 15cc gas used with 15x6 prop. Flies slow, lands slow. No bad habit. Low stall speed even with the weight of gasso and 100g of lead on the tail. Elevator push rod has some friction but it was rectified by changing them to full metal push rods. Flaps are redundant but sure can slow down the landing speed. Servo tray flexes easily, but not a 3D plane so I don't care much

Further to my earlier review - I flew the plane today and it is a great flyer. I leveled out all control surfaces before flying and it flew "out of the box" with no trims needed. I used the recommended motor NTM 4248/650 kV and prop 14x6. With 4S, 3000 mAh it drew 45A and gave a torque of 3 kg which is same as full weight of plane with battery. It is a very forgiving plane, easy to fly almost like a trainer. Only small problem- the supplied wheels are off center and too large for the wheel cover so I recommend installing slightly smaller wheels. Still as I said in my earlier review, the plane is a true bargain, very nice looking with lots of details as well as a great flyer. A grand 5 crowns version

I have just received mine and just started assembly so not flown as yet.
First impressions- it looks very quality and well presented. People who are speculating if it is an old V-Mar model I can tell you the instruction book is V-Mar dated 2002!
The model gives the impression of one of the very early Chineese type kits altho I think V-Mar made in Vietnam. Very impressed with the standard of the hardware package - for a change! Very nice anodised and colouerd alloy horns and push rod connectors. And a very clever EP conversion power pod module.
However as I started the assembly the very poor quality control at the factory became evident. Very nice F/glass wheel pants but when fitted to the fibreglass undercarriage the wheels will not revolve - they catch on the inside top of the wheel pant. I can only think of a smaller size wheel being the fix for this? I have left the pants off in the meantime.
When fitting the tail plane - the factory has left the slot in the tail joined with a block of balsa so the tail plane won't slide into the slot. I had to saw this block out and then sand the slot smooth. The little metal fitting that slots into the rudder to activate the tail wheel is not glued in .
The main wings have a wooden dowell locating peg at their trailing edge which fits into the fuselage. Mine only had one dowell in one of the wings and it was about 5 sizes too big and had
