UPdate to first review:
I have found the construction to be real light, some times too light. There are no places to mount power switching without plugging some of the lightening holes.
The rudder cables interfere with the elevator servos and there is no real fix for this. It will be something to watch during maintenance checks.
I added a couple 1/4" ply block inbetween the bulkheads for the landing gear mount. I think this will be a weak point in the model and my require a different approach.
The covering is monocote compatible. The firewall is weak so I fiber glassed mine. Seems better. It's pretty easy to crush when mounting the motor and may need a 1/8" additional ply behind to make it stronger. That to be seen as well.

CG comparison with other mfgs comes out at anywhere between 5 1/2" and 6 1/2" at the root, from leading edge or about 27pcnt of the MAC

Elevator 12 degrees up and 14 degrees down gives an even feel.

Just opened the box, that in itself was a challenge. They really use a tough box that's glued together, no opening lid on this one. You have to cut the lid off to get into it.
The model, covering is excellent, tight and finished well. I expected it to be cheap for the price but instead it's very well done. I have Aeroworks planes and this is very close to equal. I got it to fill a size need, a plane where the receiver quit and was totaltotaled.
I will not be embarrassed to take this to the field.
Don't be afraid to buy this one.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Yak. Fliegt alle Figuren schn sauber ohne irgendwelchen Macken. Kann richtig schn langsam geflogen werden. Landet sich demzufolge sehr gut.
Fliege mit einem DLE-30 Verbrennungsmotor und komme so auf 5,5kg Abfluggewicht.
Die Verarbeitung ist im groen und ganzen Gut. Hier und da muss ein bisschen nachgebessert werden. Die mitgelieferten Radschuhe und Rder passten nicht zum Modell. Waren viel zu klein. Habe 240mm Radschuhe und 90mm Rder ran gemacht. Desweiteren habe ich gleich die Fahrwerksaufnahme verstrkt. Ein bisschen Schade finde ich das keine Anleitung dabei ist. Aber fr ein gebten Modellbauer sollte das zu schaffen sein. Schwerpunkt ist auf Hhe des Steckungsrohr.
Fr den Preis einfach unschlagbar!

Plane comes well packed, and in good time, looks like the same plane in the picture.
Control horns are predictably bad, (folded aluminium), so build decent ones into your order.
No instruction manual but its online somewhere, I did have a look at it but as with most advanced kits you will probably have your own ways of doing things anyway.
Goes together well, bit of trimming here and there, usual weak UC mount so epoxy everything. I painted the firewall area with fuel proof as usual.
Flying - CG on wing spar will give moderate 3D and decent stability, to achieve this you need to mount batteries in front of spar and the tank in the firewall, (2 X 1600 3s for RC and 1 X 1000 2s for CDI). I used a power distributor from here with a built in CDI kill.
First flight on 50pcnt and 80 expo was very twitchy until I got the trim in, then a very happy remainder of flight.
I used a RCG 26 running in on a 16/8 prop and its fine, When I move onto the 18/8 it will be spot on but most people will probably go for a 30 as required.
The cowling will not fit a stock exhaust without cutting and there's no chance of a pitts muffler fitting so be advised.

Well built model and deserves 5 stars , Comes without a manual but this is no problem for an experienced builder, with regards to the ill fitting wing issue the covering on the fuselage just needs cutting so that the wing slides part way into the fuselage. Cannot believe the quality for the money, will lend itself well to electric. So if you are an experienced builder grab a bargain, you won't regret it.

Das Modell ist auf den ersten Blick gut verarbeitet..nur leider ist die Halterung fr das Fahrwerk sehr instabil..bei einer hrteren Landung reit das Fahrwerk ab und die Rder zerstren die Flgel...Flugverhalten ist sehr gutmtig...fr den Preis ein sehr gutes Modell
Ich fliege die YAK mit SK3 6354 260kv und 10S Lipo

BEWARE! Parts not available...I have to deal with a broken canopy and cowling, damaged During shipping: nightmare! So much for being a premium customer, no solution after several weeks! Customer support agents friendly and professional but still...now it was asked that I send the broken items...

Very nice quality kit as mentioned but both canopy and cowling damaged During shipping. Not enough protection and padding inside this big strong box. Will be a test for HK client service.

well the wings doesnot fit well, living a big gap in the back of the wing...terible made...very disapointe
