The ZD Racing 1/8th scale 4WD Pirate 23is a large, awesome-looking, impressive Truggy. It is packed full of the features you have come to expect from ZD Racing and is only usually seen in a much more expensive vehicle. It is almost ready to run with a powerful 4068-1800KV brushless motor, splash-proof 120A ESC with BEC, and a 9kg high-torque servo for the steering. It is no slouch in the speed department either, it has excellent acceleration, and speeds of up to 100km/h are possible. The handling is also awesome due to its low center of gravity, it is precise, and predictable making it the perfect partner for bashing around local circuits and car parks.
The features of the Pirate 3 include an all-metal drive train, large 16mm adjustable aluminum alloy oil-filled shocks, and metal-geared front, rear, and center differentials. Other features a T6061 aluminum chassis, a whole host of orange anodized metal parts including the shock towers, large pin spike high-grip balloon tires, and a splash-proof receiver box. The simple bodyshell is stylish in a black color scheme, and a large wing is supplied to provide down-force to the rear wheels.
The ZD Racing 1/8th Pirate 2 is a must for all those who want a large, fast, and very impressive Truggy that will thrive on off-road tracks, or simply just bashing about in the local park. Long run times can be expected with a 4S 5000mAh LiPo battery (not supplied) to provide you with loads of time to enjoy this fantastic off-roader.
