I recently purchased a new 2100 life batt. This new battery seems to have more capacity the the other ones purchased last year. The new battery weighs 7.6oz, the older batteries weigh 7.0oz. It seems to be 1mm thicker and capacity seems to be close to 2400mah according to the charger. Thanks.

They seem to work fine. I bought three 3s 2100 packs. They get a little warm depending on which plane I fly. My motors pull around 27-32 amp static. Good safe battery to use. 5-6 minute flights with reserve left.

None RC related review. But a lot of airsoft players that I know seek out batteries and chargers at HobbyKing. I bought this battery for my KWA SR7 airsoft rifle. It packs the same power compared to my 7.4v LiPo and 9.6v NiMh batteries. No drop in FPS or rate of fire. One thing fore sure, the size of this batter will not fit in any hand guard or butt stock compartment. Hence, I have mounted an external pouch to the stock and extended the wire to connect the battery externally. It gave me approximately 3hr. game play before the battery died out. Great value and price in my opinion and a lot safer to use vs. LiPo batteries.

No, they haven't proved much good.
Always properly charged & balanced on a Cellpro 10, but now have already low capacity after not much use.
If they can get the quality up to A123 standard they would be a good seller because of the variety of pack shapes they could be made in.

Regrettfully I am going back to LiPos

Fonctionne tres bien dans un M14 marui upgrade a 400 fps avec mosfet AB GATE.

Pas de variation de reactivite.

Plus lege que du nimh ou nicd.

Moins encombrant.

Stable chimiquement.

In a helicopter the 30C rating proves to be quite optimistic.
I pushed the pitch stick upward from hovering only slightly, this lets the motor speed drop immediately, feels like an empty Lipo battery.
Given the already worse capacity-to-weight performance compared to Lipo cells, I can merely recommend these cells for anything that flies.

So far so good. I'm saying that because being averse to all the idiosyncrasies of LiPo's I'm keen on LiFe's and willing to give these a try. They fit better into models than the cylindrical A123's, plus - no fire risks/ faster recharge,so you don't need as many/no low discharge problem/much longer cycle life.

I'm living with the slightly less V, but that's well worth all the advantages.

Habe 4 dieser Packs bestellt. Geliefert wurden diese alle gleichmig mit 3.25V/Zelle balanciert. Keine geschwollenen Zellen.
Leider stimmt die angegebene Kapazitt nicht. Gemessen mit einem Ultramat 18 mit 2C Entladung auf 2.5V und anschlieender Ladung mit 2C gehen etwa 1900mAh rein. Das gleiche ist nach dem Fahren (23T brushed in einem Drifter, etwa 25A Belastung). Fahre diese Packs bis zum Einbruch der Leistung. Bei anschlieender Ladung mit 2C gehen sogar nur rund 1800mAh rein.
Der innere Widerstand wird vom Ultramat mit etwa 10.5mOhm gemessen. Originale a123 Zellen haben hier nur 8.5Ohm. Das merkt man auch nach dem Fahren. Diese Zellen werden deutlich wrmer.
