This Russian Zubr-Class LCAC (Landing Craft Air Cushioned) is an amphibious hovercraft with a realistic military look. It is relaxed on both land and water. Built from tough ABS materials it will stand a lot of punishment. It comes complete with an RC radio for easy operation.
The Zubr-Class LCAC has been in service since 1988 and is the world’s largest military hovercraft with a displacement of 555 tons. It is designed to bring marines and tanks to shore and can also plant naval mines. There are 10 units currently operational in the Russian, Chinese and Greek navies.
A gyro to help keep the hovercraft stable and there are powerful propulsion motors to make for exciting maneuvering on both land and water. Up to 10km/h on land and 8km/h on water. The lifting motor has three settings (standard 50%, low load 70%, full load 100%) that are controlled by the supplied radio controller. The two layers of high-quality air cushion have many internal dividers to ensure that damage in one area with not stop the hovercraft. There is even a low battery warning light and beeper to ensure you get back safely. Stickers are provided to give a more realistic look to the model.
You will need to provide batteries. It requires a 3000~3300mAH 2S Lipo for the model and 4 AA batteries for the radio controller. The model comes with an XT60 battery connector.
