Unboxing & Assembly of the New Hall Cherokee V2
Unboxing the New H-King Cherokee V2
Built for Precision & Durability
Purposeful upgrades improve soaring efficiency, transport convenience and everyday durability without compromising the Cherokee's classic character.
Streamlined Drag Reduction
The retractable motor pod stays stowed during soaring, reducing exposed drag for cleaner, more efficient gliding.
Aerobatic Potential
On-demand power and a reinforced airframe open the door to loops, inverted flight and energetic sport manoeuvres.
Lightweight EPO Airframe
Lightweight EPO construction helps maintain efficient gliding performance while remaining practical for field use.
Glue-Free Assembly
Modular bolt-together construction simplifies assembly, storage and transport to and from the flying field.
Belly Landing Protection
Nose protection, servo covers, skid protection and the mono-wheel help reduce everyday landing wear.
Pre-Installed Aerotow Hook
Experienced pilots can also enjoy traditional scale-style aerotow launches.
One Throttle Command. Two Modes.
Power when you want to climb. A cleaner profile when you want to soar.
Throttle Up to Deploy
Motor torque automatically raises the power pod into position for powered climbs without requiring a separate deployment servo.
Power Off to Stow
Once the motor stops, airflow lets the power pod settle rearward along the fuselage for cleaner, lower-drag soaring.
Cherokee V1 vs Cherokee V2
V2 upgrades the original Cherokee with a more effective power system, stronger structure and more transport-friendly design.
| Feature | Cherokee V1 | Cherokee V2 Upgrade |
|---|---|---|
| Power System | Top-mounted EDF system | 2300KV motor with retractable 6x4 pusher propeller |
| Soaring Profile | EDF housing remains exposed | Power pod stows rearward when the motor is off |
| Wing Structure | Thinner wing structure with a comparatively more vulnerable wing connection | Reinforced wing structure for improved rigidity and durability |
| Wing Assembly | Fixed wing arrangement | Removable two-piece wing for easier transport and storage |
| Horizontal Tail | Smaller horizontal stabilizer | Enlarged removable horizontal stabilizer |
Required Equipment to Fly
