Product Description

The Fury 3D is an EPP profile model with a whole lot of attitude and wickedly good looks. The paint scheme is not only good for orientation but also very nice to look at. This model is constructed of ultra durable EPP foam, making it virtually "unbreakable". This makes it the ultimate plane for practicing your 3D maneuvers with or for flying in small places.

The Fury is purpose built to handle all out 3D aerobatics. The wing is one-piece design and features carbon reinforcement right out to the wing tips. This makes it very rigid and capable of handling the most extreme aerobatics. The control surfaces are massive providing the type of control you need for extreme 3D flying. The fuselage is reinforced in similar fashion from the nose to the tail, providing flex-free flight! The rear servos are mounted right at the back making for very short runs of the control rods. This offers fast, accurate elevator and rudder response ideal for 3D flight. The metal pushrods feature a Z-bend in one end which attaches to glass fiber control horns while the other end is secured to the servo horn with the included EZconnectors.

Thanks to its clever design, assembly of the Fury 3D is a breeze. All hardware is included, you will simply need add your own electronics. If you're looking for an all-out 3D aerobat that is easy to build, ultra durable and cheap to outfit with electronics, the Fury 3D is for you!

Great Pattern Plane - Not really 3d

All in all a great little plane. I like it.
I bought this plane to use on windier days. I find profile wings, & a relatively heavy weight cope much better in windier conditions. I kind of got what I expected as this is a re-badged Techone arrow, so quality is A1. I was expecting something that was not extreme 3d but more pattern like as the wing area is too small for the weight for "real" 3d.(Or at least with my ability anyway. ) And that is what I got.
Also as a real plus, it probably has the most robust landing gear on any of my light weight epp planes, except my crack beaver.
BTW: I am using.
AS2208 KV 1260 motor leftover from a Techone/hobbyking p-51
20 amp esc also leftover from a Techone/hobbyking p-51
700 mah turnigy 30 C xt30 battery - I doubt you could prop hang with a heavier battery
8x3.8 HY slow flow
12 gram metal gear emax ES08MA analog servos on aileron - I kept stripping cheapo plastic servos
8-9 gram cheapo analog servos on rudder & elevator

This plane is better than the reactor. easy build and better locations for the servos.No strings. control surfaces stiffer & larger. Used digital metal gear servos. Flys great!!!
Buy 1 bottle of foam tac to build , & white gorilla glue for repairs.
Used a turnigy 2822/14 with a gws 8 4 prop . 1000 mah zippy fits the slot best.
Nanotech 850 runs longer. custom fit. Zippy 5.5 min flight. Nanotech 6.5 min.
Hovers nicely. Waterfalls , roll rate is marvelous.

I just wanted to mention...This kit is very nice...The wing and the fus are very ridgid!!!aswesome!!!!....My only problem is....The wing is to small!!!!!
if you just want to tear holes in the sky fine...but any high alpha..is out.....I used a small axi outrunner 10x5 prop 1300 three cell to get the CG forward enough to fly...The roll rate is awesome....twitchy in a hover....waterfalls decent....I just wish the wing was bigger!!!!

Nice looking, but unforgiving plane. Many of my trials of loops end rolls ends in violent spiral, often ended with nose in the ground.
HK Pitts EPP-CF is much easier and funny to fly...
