    The Mellizo 50e is a high-performance aerobatic biplane model that can be built both quickly and inexpensively. The long tail moment combined with a large tail makes a stable, yet agile model capable of precision aerobatic maneuvers.

    The expertly applied covering is perfect for orientation with an abstract scheme on the upper with simple stripes on the underside. The one piece wings are designed for easy building, transport, and field assembly. All hardware is included a pre-installed fiberglass cowl and a comprehensive instruction manual.

    The HobbyKing™ Mellizo 50e features large control surfaces with rear fuselage mounted servos for elevator/rudder precision. With its low flying weight and nice quality construction, this is a perfect sports flyer, easy build aerobatic model that will last for years as only balsa planes can!

    First flights with Mellizo very succesfull. Fly it with 6s 5000 and Turnigy 5065/560 KV and 16x10 Prop. Landing gear is too hard (no flex), changed it to softer Alu landing gear (left over from WIND S50 crash). Based on reviews and experience with WIND beefed up motor and undercarriage area. Wood wing attachment parts could easily break, next time I will make some from Aluminum.

    Flight characteristics are very good. Very easy to knife edge. CG starting point 120 mm (Miss Wind value) will move back since I have some diving in inverted flying.

    Je viens de le recevoir et il pse nu 2kgs! Ils n'ont pas cherch le faire trs lger, car le fuselage est en panneaux de balsa plein, non ajours mais dans l'ensemble il est bien fabriqu et joli. Les ailes sont fines et rigides tout comme le fuselage, le support moteur devant semble bien coll, il me reste le monter..

    Alle Teile gewogen, Abfluggewicht von 3,6 kg mit 6S 5000 mAh Akkus (!!) ist zu erreichen. Natrlich bei Verwendung von guten Mini-Servos (4 auf Quer ) und Standard-Servos (je 1 auf Seite/Hhe)! Verarbeitung meines Kit ist 1a.
    mein Vergleichsmodell: Pilatus PC 21 von SebArt (Hacker) ;-)

    Gewicht 3190g ohne Akku. Modell soweit ok. Einige Kleinigkeiten sind zu beheben.
    Ausschnitt fr Hhenleitwerk zu gro. Scharniere an Hltw. falsch platziert.
    Klebestellen mssen berprft werden.
    Fahrwerk wurde durch CFK ersetzt. In die Flchen passen keine Standard Servos.
    Low Profil mit 16mm ab Befestigungslasche sind ideal. Heckservos wrde ich ebenfalls leicht
    um 25 g nehmen. Anlenkungen sind nicht wirklich zu gebrauchen.
    Motor habe ich einen BL 50, da vorhanden verbaut. Damit geht das schon recht gut.
