Smooth-running motor

The motor is used to drive a POV display. It is small, runs at little power / amps and runs very smooth at just the needed relatively low rpm.
Very good motor!

I have used these motors in conjunction with a now old 500 Dead cat Pro frame which came with a small 2 axis carrier to suit Mobius camera. I used a lighter Mobius Mini camera with about 6g ballast to level it up. I swapped the 8 bit controller for a 32 bit partly to suit the motor plug types and partly to update the controller.
The set up and configuration went well and the motors worked well first time and continue to do the job.

These are working great in my custom designed 3D printed gimbal. They have no issue balancing a Hero 7 and an FPV camera. Took almost a month to ship to California from Hong Kong though.

Grommet issues ..

Not bad Motor, bought 2 and 2804 for a gimbal setup, one of the 2206 had open poles, Hobby-king quickly send me a replacement, the second one had issues with windings as well not completely open but high enough resistance to make the storm board crazy...Again Hobby-king replaced them without an issue, for some unapparent reason the first two motors had the grommet that holds the wire to the casing was tearing off the casing, the last one they sent the grommet was thicker...Overall its a good value as long as Hk stands behind their warranty...

In General, the motor is not bad, but has a big drawback, the wire output from the stator is loose and with a slight tension can come off. What happened with me. For mu in the Assembly of motor winding wire was pinched by the motor housing, in the end, it all worked for 2-3 minutes.

These motors offer very smooth and silent operation. They work perfectly for the roll and pitch axises of a GoPro sized gimbal (I can imagine it would work exceptionally for the Mobius cam also).

***One thing to be careful of is splicing the wires or windings by over tightening mount screws on the motor causing them to go too deep.***

I used this motor for my custom 3 axis gimbal. Motor are so smooth compare with other motors that I tried. The only complain I have is the wire. They should use softter silicon and wish it come black rather than server colored wire. It's ugly to to see it on my custom gimbal and need to cut it and replaced. Please HK, release a version with different wire.
