All LEDs Not The Same Intensity

The circuit board for this strip is common to the red, green, blue, and white versions. One LED has a 300 ohm resistor in series with it, the other two are in series with each other and a 150 ohm resistor. This works great for the red and green versions, but the characteristics of the blue and white LEDs are different so the two LEDs that are in series are much dimmer than the one that only has the 300 ohm resistor with it. Plan on reworking the PCB for this strip if you want all LEDs to be the same intensity.

Light intensity isn't the same for all LEDs

The pcb for this strip is common to all strips, red, green, white, and blue. But the characteristics of the blue LEDs are different from the red and green strips. With this one, only one LED is bright, the other two are dim. In order to make them all the same intensity, the 150 ohm resistor needs to be removed, and a 300 ohm resistor added for each of the two LEDs that were connected to it. The strip will draw a little more current, but the lighting for all three LEDs will be the same.

Nice and bright. Plugged them into the extra channel in m receiver and use them on my tricopter for the tail.

Works well, just be careful how they are mounted. The electrical contacts on the back of the circuit board are exposed, so zip-tying them to an aluminum or CF frame heli won't work. Not a big deal, just be aware of it.



Otherwise, they are nice and bright and work great. (although the blue is dimmer than other colors).

not very bright unless you get the angle just right, they are focused LED's, not good for much more than trivial decorations or some basic orientation.
