This unit is based on the E3D V6 hot end nozzle assembly which is suitable for 1.75mm material. The V6 is a premium hot end with a smoother heat break, reduced length, thickness and diameter which helps to increase the stability of the hot end. The V6 is a complete redesign of the popular V5 unit which has been a favorite for sometime now.
It has a simple and practical heating block with an increased number of heatsinks for better heat dissipation and it also has a shorter transition zone. Included is a 5 bladed reasonably quiet cooling fan to help keep things cool and the whole unit is easy to service. Other size nozzles such as 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5mm can be fitted if desired.
