Shiny Finish but...

The spring inside is much too stiff for a 4Kg plane. I fixed that unwanted effect with removing the spring and cutting 2-3windings off. On my rough grass field the whole mechanics started to wobble more and more after some starts and landngs. The gap where you fix the leg and the spring with a small grub screw is worn out too quick which has the effect that the whole leg is twisting slightly in both directions, left and right. Thats why straight starts get more and mor difficult. The grub screws to mount the legs on the pin do not hold tight. you must use normal M3 Hex screws to fasten them tight otgherwise the twist from beginning. This is an oles for a straight asphalt ground but not for grass.

High quality and robust strut leg. Designed for twin nose wheels, but can be simply converted to single wheel. Also can be used as a main wheel leg. Used 4 on a Handley Page O/400 for scale effect, look great.

It is too hard on spring, need to be more softer than one that I have is hard spring. I am looking for softer spring to replace it.
