Questo modello è plug and volare e richiede solo pochi minuti di tempo di assemblaggio e vola come i suoi su binari grazie al un pezzo tecnica di stampaggio utilizzato nella costruzione. Awesome plane - yes the wing brace needs replacing with a longer piece of CF & I added another piece closer to the front of the wing for extra strength.
Despite several nose first crashes at high speed it still flies great & is a lot of fun. It tracks really well & can be flown fast or slow for nice passes & floaty landings.
I just wish Hobbyking would restock these funfighters coz if the rest are like this then I want them all !

I just received my AT6 funfighter and it does NOT have the 3s-4s ESC as described in the description. Mine came with a 2s-3s ESC. I started a RMA I will update when I get more info.

I previously had a Rare Bear funfighter which was lots of fun but wanted something a little different. This one i decided to modify slightly with a 2700kv NTM, 4s 1300 nano-tech, Plush 60A ESC, carbon strips in the ailerons and elevator, stronger ply firewall and better spinner. It's a beast and a lot faster than my old funfighter which has now been passed to a friend to experiment with a rudder for high speed aerobatics. This Texan is a lot heavier with the mods but still manages to fly slow enough for a smooth landing. Thankfully i haven't had any hints of a tip stall as mentioned on other internet reviews. I think i want another now - maybe the P-51?!...... :)

Bought the AT6 because several others club members have the P47 and P40 from the mini warbird series, maiden flight with 1000 3s was okay bit of trimming then nice 5 min flight, second (and last) flight took off climbed up into a loop then heard a loud crack and saw the right hand wing had folded up, it came down like a shot pheasant and destroyed itself about 10 yards behind the flightline, after all the others had finished laughing we went over to give it a post mortem, soon spotted the problem this particular model has a GLUED 3 PIECE WING BRACE and the glue joint in the right hand wing had failed, in my opinion this is not only a weak and dangerous design it is NOT FIT FOR USE any other product this bad you would send it back to the manufacturer for a refund, now because its in 20 different bits I don't think its an option! If you really want one of these please REINFORCE THE WING BRACE before flying it, I really hope Hobbyking read these reviews and can do something about it, just because I wasted 60 you don't have to!

habe direkt einen greren Regler eingebaut 20A bei 4S kann ja nicht funktionieren.
Kohlefaserstbe zustzlich eingebaut und dann brennt die Luft ;)

Mit 3s schon unglaublich schnell, schaut schn aus und macht robusten Eindruck. Farbe hlt sehr gut. Fr den Preis super Gert. Super Flugbild macht viel Spass.
Zu 4s: zieht 25A, ist fr meinen Stock Regler mit 20A machbar, wird nicht zu heiss. Aber sicherlich nicht Vollgas fest. 30A Regler wre perfekt.
Aber Achtung! Dieses Modell ist so wie es aus der Schachtel kommt nicht fr 4s geeignet. Die Flchen brechen an der Position des Servos. Dort treffen auch die Carbon Verstrkungen zusammen, quasi eine Sollbruchstelle. Wer bei Vollgas Hhe zieht, erlebt eine dramatische Show am Himmel. Also entweder Funfighter mit weniger Spannweite oder den hier verstrken. Ich hab 4 Carbonleisten a 8mm x 100mm jeweils vor und hinter das Servo im Flgel, mal schaun ob das besser hlt.
Den Absturz mit Vollgas hat der Flieger erstaunlich gut weggesteckt. Von der fehlenden Flche mal abgesehen musste nur der Motor neu eingeklebt werden....

My 4th funfighter in the series and absolutely love them all! As per my other funfighters the Texan is no exception,super fast,stable with fluent aerobatics and a surprisingly slow tip stall speed, with all the funfighters you must increase the structural integrity of wings with carbon tape.i have never had wings brake off with any of them but given there speed and the fact there foam it's a wise precaution as these things are very quick! Running stock electronics with the nano 850mah 4s battery and they all hand launch nearly vertical on 3/4 throttle no dramas with minimal trimming on control surfaces to get strait level flight. Going to keep buying these until I have the whole set! Absolutely addicted!!

Hier meine Anmerkungen zur AT6 Funfighter in 4s-Konfiguration:
Nach dem mir die AT6 geliefert wurde, habe ich sie in der 4s-Konfiguration nach Herstellerangaben aufgebaut. Beim ersten Motortestlauf ist der ESC durchgebrannt u. ein weiterer Test musste verschoben werden. Der ESC wurde von Hobbyking ohne Probleme nach Schilderung des Sachverhaltes ersetzt. Die Ersatzlieferung dauerte nur sehr lange. Nach dem Winter habe ich nun den ersten Testflug durchgefhrt. Der klappte auf Anhieb. Nach der Landung mussten lediglich die Ruderwege ein wenig nachjustiert werden. Beim 2. Flug passierte es dann: Nach den ersten Kurven und einem Steigflug reagierte die AT6 nicht mehr auf das Hhenruder und bohrte sich aus ca. 50 Metern senkrecht in den Boden. Alle Versuche, die Maschine durch Hhenruder abzufangen, schlugen fehl. Bei der Ursachenforschung stellten wir fest, dass sich das Gestnge des Hhenruders wegen zu schwachen Dimensionierung verbogen hatte und keinen Ruderdruck mehr aufbauen konnte. Ergebnis: 2 abgebrochene Tragflchen, das Leitwerk am Rumpf abgebrochen (direkt vor dem Seitenruder), die Rumpfnase sehr stark aufgestaucht.
Eine berprfung des Hhenruderservos ergab, dass dieses auch nach dem Absturz einwandfrei funktionierte.
Fazit: Der Hersteller sollte die einzelnen Komponenten doch etwas strker dimensionieren

I have to rate this low because of the poor customer service. I was missing the elevator rod and horn, and could not receive any help from Hobby King. They keep asking for a picture of what was wrong with the airplane. Was I suppose to send a picture of an empty box? I don't get it..

Nachdem meine AT6 geliefert wurde, habe ich sie nach Vorgabe montiert. Bei Test mit der 4s-Konfiguration (850'er Nano Tech-Lipo) ist bei erstem Vollgas sofort der original verbaute ESC durchgebrannt. Einen Testflug konnte ich nicht mehr realisieren. Eigentlich schade. Die AT6 macht sonst einen vernnftigen Eindruck. Mal sehen, was das Support Center duzu sagt.
