Very nice kit for the money. Well packaged, spare pair of props included which was a concern of mine. Nav lights pre-installed an added bonus. Retractable gear looks pretty sturdy. Still waiting on the 10 servos I need to complete this, but very impressed with the quality of this kit for under 100 bucks...

First time buyer from HK I got this plane in mid December and was very impressed with the packaging it had no damage to speak of.

I had a hatch servo strip out the second flight when u plug in the battery the gear cycles so put it on its nose and lay it against something dont know if its supposed to do that but it does on mine

The wiring is a mess they could have made some of the leads a little longer so its easier to plug them all in i had to us needle nose to plug in the esc's in that little radio box on the fuse.

HK needs to have replacement parts readily available like hatch hinges and covers because if u dont land this thing on the mains just perfect the props get broke and so does the gear hatch

But all in all this thing is beautiful but not for beginners.

U cant beat the price either I would consider another plane from HK in the future if they sell replacement parts for these warbirds they look good in the air.

I bought the kit, but do not know which driver to use, does not have much knowledge in aircraft electric motor which can use and if it is sold on hobbyking, because all that I thought could be are missing.

This kit needs a sequencer for the retracts otherwise is good for the price

a sequencer can be obtained from smservices.net a UK company cost UK 20 carriage

there must be a USA vendor

This kit looks absolutely beautiful. I think the the price could be a little lower too. By the time you get done buying al the parts you need to complete it, it will be more expensive than the Plug-n-Play version. However, this kit is still a great deal.

Kit is very nice and complete with retract mechanism, even four propellers, cables to connect your servos etc. So all you need to buy is all servos - suggest you use HK 939 MG with metal gears for the retracts - you will need 3 of these. The others 7 can be regular HXT900 or similar. Then you need 3 units of Turnigy adjustable slow down servo speed regulator - 3 channel for the retracts and bay doors. And of course 2 motors with ESC's plus your Rx and Tx. Pity that price on the kit with all needed parts is higher than if you buy the complete ARF unit. A price reduction would not hurt.
