Where's the "Fun" in this Fun Fighter?

I got this plane in a timely manner, which is good. First thing I noticed was the bad camo paint job on my 109. Quite a bit of smears on the wings and side of the plane. After opening up the my plane I noticed that my ESC is incorrect. The ESC for my plane is set up for 2-3S when it should be 4S. I was not happy with the out come of it not being 4S and feel a little cheated for the price.(Looking at you HobbyKing)

As for the plane's flying abilities, the 109 flew just fine on 3S but it's no 100mph speed demon. Which is the reason I bought this "Fun" Fighter for. Anyone looking to get one of these Funfighters be warned you might not be getting the "True 4s" ESC.

What FUN
This is a great small model BUT super fast I love it.
Took it up the club and the guys could not believe the speed it goes, blink and you miss it.
I loved my radjet 420 but this knocks the socks off it .
On 4s 800mah Fantastic not tried it on 3s not going to bother .
4s gives slowish flight to super fast.
If you can fly then try this Baby Great Fun

Review bf-109
I was very disappointed when I unpacked the plane, as I had expected a scale model oft he legendary Messerschmitt Bf 109 but this plane is everything but scale. It contains three sizes: 1:20 for the pilots figure, 1:15 for the main wing and the fuselage, and 1:10 for the rudder and elevator fins. Especially the monster-elevator and rudder look strange, not to say awful.. The canopy is completely wrong-it was never formed convex on the top, and also the charger intake, the exhaust pipes and the engine coolers are missing completely, the oil-cooler is far to small. Needless to say the model is far to heavy for such a small wing area.
The only alternative here at HobbyKing was the 650mm-wingspan Me 109-E from freewing, but it seems tob e discontinued. There is only one hope- that HobbyKing one day offers a Me-109, additional tot he very nice made Fw-190 D. The best were to equip the model with two different rudder fins and three canopies, so it would be possible to build up two different versions - a F-, G- or K-version.

Brilliant little plane, maidened it on 4S and it's like a rocket, on 3S it's an enjoyable weekend fast flyer. Slows for a very good landing. Love it already. Don't buy one if you are a beginner, very twitchy.

This little plane is a rocket! Flying on 4S 1000mAh and it hauls. Easily accelerates vertical, and easy to loose quickly because of high speed and small size. Recommend dialing in dual rate, she's twitchy.

I have had a couple of these Funfighters and I love them. They are fast on 3s and scary fast of 4s. If you have a few of them they are the most fun to tie ribbons and dogfight with. You will have the occasional marriage with the tarmac but at 75 bucks PNF who cares. They are a blast to fly and great to fly with friends. Buy 2!

What a plane!! Very fast. I fly mine on the turnigy 4s 850MAH 45-90c nano tech battery which press fits into the fuz and puts the CoG spot on, 5minute of hard near flat out flight time, the Esc CAN handle it no problem, it just gets warm.
Great fun little plane I'm pleased I got it.

Die Me 109 ist der Knaller mit 4s Zippis 1000mah geht das Teil einfach nur Super und ist damit sehr sehr flott unterwegs ;-) kann ich nur empfehlen
unproblematisch aus der Hand zu starten und auch beim Landen sehr gutmtig so das man sie fast vor den Fssen landen kann
Ideal geeignet um Dogfight zu Fliegen

Just received this item and according to instruction manual the esc has been programmed at factory to match the motor but something isn't correct as the timing seems to be out and the motor is cogging, I now need the instructions for the esc to program to motor correctly as this cannot be flown like this. Can any body help?
