I ordered 2 of these motors; one works fine with a 5x3 GWS prop with hub reamed out to fit. I'm using a HK 8-10 ESC. The second motor does not work properly, only spinning up to half speed before it quits. It will restart if the throttle is closed and re-opened, but will quit at half speed. It will spin up to full speed with no prop on it. I tried a 30A ESC but got the same results. I think the motor is defective out of the box, but it's not worth mailing back to HK on their RMA procedure.

I bought two of these motors for a bonzai, they work very well with that small wing. There is an issue keeping the prop on, maybe not quite as big a problem for a pusher, but the prop does damage the wing when it comes off. I have not found a prop that fits without some sort of modification, and the supplied rubber rings are too big. That seems to be the only issue.

Nice little motor, fits perfect on micro pcb quad frame. But you have to be VERY!!! careful with the wires, don't bend them more than two times!

Good little motor - Plenty of power running on 600mm span canard (outdoor model) with a 5x3 GWS prop. Pulls 6A on a 2s 350mah Zippy Flightmax battery - Total 42Watts. Prop adapter doesn't seem to fit any prop without modification (had to drill out the GWS prop to suit). O ring bands that came with the motor were far too big, hence only 4 stars.

when it worked it was fine, but sadly never made it into the air, as the extremely delicate wires from the winding had a fracture from rather minimal but repeated movement - too small to fix where the break occurred; need more care with the next one, because otherwise it's a good motor with a 4025 prop on 2s

11.6gm with bare wires; diameter 20.3mm; mounting holes centres at 13mm from the axis; spins up nicely on a 2s lipo using a 12amp blue series esc, and sounds lovely; once i get the watts up meter cranking i'll try and post some numbers loaded with my assorted props to assist other shoppers

Got touched on this one!!! Connected wires to esc that i know works and motor flickers back and forth... Rechecked connections and same result. Checked resistance between wires and one has a high resistance inside motor.. dud motor..

I ordered 2 of these, only problem was to keep the prop on. I had to make a strap of sheet aluminum because the o-rings wouldn't keep the prop on at top speed. These little motors are great, but need to increase shaft length so a prop adapter can be used. When I get prop and power data I will post it.
