Good stuff. I weighed it to be 2.4g (not 4 as stated). The metal pin is 2mm in diameter, 40mm long. It can, with a little force, be moved inside the lock handle so it can be made to protrude from the lock as much or as little as you like. The maximum amount the metal pin can be moved is 11mm (the return spring compresses completely and hinders further movement). The mounting plate size is 16mm x 26mm (the product description states 15 x 26 but the 15 is incorrect, it is really 16). Mounting plate thickness is 1.5mm. The mounting plate has 6 2mm holes, and in each corner of the plate there are 1mm holes. The center section that is to go inside the model is 6.4mm wide x 26mm long and protrudes 8.4mm from the mounting plate. All in all a good quality product and very light. Recommend.

If you have movable canopies then this is a must hae lock, easy to fit, need some white grease fore smoothness and reliability.

These are better than others I have seen. The travel of the pin is just over 0.250 of an inch. This will make a very positive lock on any panel or canopy.

Nice little thing, although it feels a little fragile.

Im useing it in my FunJet to close a hatch i made between the wings.

Very nice quality canopy lock ant it only cost few cents. Will order more as most canopies of my model are fixed with screws.
