I had one of this planes after some serious 3D maneouvers one wing broke duirng flight and down it went, total loss.
after necropsy found share webs where 1/16 balsa and not complet from rib to rib, spars where 3/32 soft balsa.
No wonder why wing broke in flight.
If you buy one, make sure you retire low wing covering and reinforce spars with CF and 1/8 balsa share webs, rib to rib.HK please get this big bird in stock by next week and I will buy it........Man, what a plane.........looks great i am beginner a building first kit every but still got it ok I am running a TURNIGY 50-65B 350kV and a TURNIGY 60A ESC with switched BEC connected to a 6S Lipoly setupOver all it is good value for money
this kit not for beginner builder
my cowl had no clear coat on it & the withe color was a bit yellow
the rudder have a weak constriction for its size, no pilot, no spinner
I had .75cu engine on it & it flies well
bit hard to land when it's windy.
Looks nice & I'm happy with itBox arrived yesterday with my CAP232 and associated goodies.
One thing that is not mentioned in ANY review or HK blurb is the fact that the wing is 1 PIECE after Construction,have to modify to 2 piece for transport .
