For starters, these props are beautiful. I've bought a series of the Type E Cherry props, all of them look fantastic. On rare occasion I've received one that had a weird knot or imperfection, but these are minor and just add to the character of it the wood.
I first thought the somewhat odd shape of these would hurt performance (the tips are broad and curved), but it doesn't seem to. This 14x8 pulled a strong 41 amps on an SK3 4250 500kv motor on 6s, for 852w. Thrust is excellent, though I don't have numbers for that. Comparing the type E props to APC style props, they draw more amps and create more thrust, though I'm not sure if efficiency is better or not. It's also far quieter than comparable sized Master Airscrew or APC props.
Balancing of all the props has been pretty good. I have yet to find one with a major blade imbalance, but sometimes the hub will be off a bit. Drill a couple of shallow holes, glue in a couple BBs, and the problem is solved.
The style of these props won't match with all planes, but the broad rounded blades fit perfectly with the classic styling of an old school trainer or biplane. It's a beautiful piece that performs well at a very reasonable price.

Sehr schoen verarbeitet Propeller. Laeuft rund nur leider ist der Aufdruck TURNIGY unter der Lackschicht. Ich haette diesen gerne wegen der Scale Optik entfernt. Aber was solls. Man muss sich ja in der Zwischenzeit nicht mehr dafuer schaemen dass man bein Chinamann kauft :-)
