DHC-2 Beaver EP ARF
Famoso per la super-breve STOL **, il DHC Beaver è un divertente e aereo facile da pilotare. Un balsa qualità e la costruzione del compensato tagliato al laser rendono questo piano molto leggero. Accoppiato con una cassa rotante 30 dimensioni e un'elica 9 ~ 10 pollici slowfly e si avrà la Beaver esecuzione nei pressi di decolli e atterraggi stazionarie 3 punti di super slow.

A fuir absolument !
Le modle est plutt joli mais vol trs mal. Il dcroche trs facilement. Les commandes des gouvernes ne sont pas prcises du tout.
Pour obtenir un centrage correct j'ai du, en plus de l'accus 3S 2200 plac l'avant, ajout environ 85g de plomb (le moteur fait 50g). Rsultat, le modle est lourd (trop pour la taille) et il est trs instable en vol.
A moins de vouloir en faire une maquette statique, vitez ce modle.

I had that model already in my possession of another brand ... PROTECH (Belgium). The Protech version is more strongly built, the plywood is thicker and there is a motor mount for glow engine included. Overall... nice plane

I got the DHC on a discount pop up special for $53. The plane was double boxed, bubble warped,all parts count,no dents, dings, and no wrinkles in covering.The only complaint I had was the amount of tine it took to get it,witch was 4 days less than 1 mo.it took almost a week to leave the warehouse in China.When I get to my winter home in Yuma next Mo. I will let you know how it flies and the construction.

the plane is a real looker and went together real fast but the monocote is a real piece of garbage. It has more wrinkles in it then my late grandmother had. I had to break out my old iron to smooth it out. This model and the Cessna 172 seem to be made by the same company. Kind of disappointed, but at least the wrinkles are only on the fuselage.

Overall, I'm dissapointed in the build quality, glue joints are not OK, had to reglue many parts, plastic used for cowling and windscreen is of inferior quality (cracks to easily), aileron hinge cuts were misaligned, loose wing dowel pins, landing gear is much to weak, etc etc.
Also the suggested NTM Prop Drive 28-36 motor is too long for the cowling. And this motor needs a 11 inch prop (with 3s lipo) to get sufficient power, however, a 10 or 11 inch prop will cause the prop to hit the ground....
I assume this is an exception with the other HK ARF sets, because I didn't have these issues with previous HK kits.

Not worth the headache, save your money for another plane HK has to offer. Poorly designed for EP and overall quality it low.

hi got my beaver from the uk warehouse on 24hr dispatch it took 5 days,so that was crap,or yes the instructions,probbley better off writing your own,the quality it,s self is not to bad.but the bad point is you have to take the wing of to change the battery along with the struts,so that is total crap....

The airplane arrived in great shape with no dmage at all. The monokote was applied very nicely with no wrinkles at all. It appears that all the parts are there, although the "manual" has no index of all parts supplied. The Manual is very bad. No detail, poor picture quality, and steps left out of the build process. I have questions regarding the assembly of the elevator, steerable tail wheel, and aileron servo that aren't shown in manual, or even pictured. This is why I gave it only 3 crowns in the two categories.

The cowl and windscreen are both pretty flimsy, and they will require special care to get on without damage. Pushrods are very flexible and may cause issues down the road if not reenforced or replaced. It will take some time and effort, not to mention skill, to get this plane assembled. This is not for a beginner, or hobbyist unfamiliar with balsa/plywood construction.
