I bought one of these with a large helping of sceptism to fit to an AGM 30. We do not have a particularly noise sensitive site (even for the UK) but the AGM30 on a 19x8 prop was quite objectionable!. This made a world of difference, it works really well.

OK I lost power at the top end but the idle and mid range remain as good if not better. I don't have dBA figures as we don't measure them but the change from a harsh objectionable tone to nice rich note was really impressive. I would recommend it.

Only slight difficulty I had was the pipe on the AGM was nearer 18mm bore and this device was 18.5mm OD so I had to swage out the pipe on the AGM. More an issue with the engine than the device I feel.

Good stuff, reduce the noise but make the exhaust overheat a bit.

I have 2 of these that are for my DLE 60 and if they work as well as the 20cc size I have on my DLE 35 RA I will be well happy. they just need to make one for the DLE 55 NOW please please please.

These are identical to the secraft items but a fraction of the price! I have fitted two to the outlets of a AS power pitts muffler (along with home made internal baffles) they have additionally reduced the noise by a further 2 db which is 3 times the sound and the rpm is still good with no lack of power on a DL50
