    I bought this EDF for my 5 year old HK 70mm sport jet. It's twice as heavy as the original EDF unit, so I installed it more to the front of the fuselage to keep the same CoG (glued in 2 extra wooden supports) Static it draws 70-80 Amps, thrust estimate 1,4kg. I'm using an older HK SS 60-80A ESC, which I know is below spec., but it doesn't get warm and seems to do the job... Three flights so far with this new EDF, it has great sound and my sport jet is way faster now. Although it draws more Amps, I was happy that flight times remain the same, probably because I throttle back more often, whereas before I was flying full throttle all the time. Very happy with this upgrade, highly recommended!
