The legend returns! The Durafly Curtiss P-40N Warhawk V2 takes HobbyKing’s iconic 1100mm PNF warbird to the next level, blending historical reverence with cutting-edge RC engineering. Dressed in the striking and authentic Aleutian Tiger paint scheme, this V2 model honors the brave pilots who defended the frozen skies of Alaska during WWII.
Do not mistake this for the famous "Flying Tigers" of the American Volunteer Group. While those legendary P-40 sported a fearsome shark mouth on the nose, the 343rd Fighter Group scheme features a tiger head painted across the engine cowling. It's a truly intimidating livery that stands apart from every other P-40 scheme in history. The Durafly P-40 V2 literally is the only 1100mm scale P-40 Warhawk of this scheme and level of finish available on the market.
Key Product Features
Authentic Aleutian Tiger Livery & Accurate Cockpit
This version features an Aleutian Tiger scheme, historically accurate cockpit canopy and internal layout, truly replicating the specific P-40 variant deployed in the harsh Aleutian Islands campaign.
Heavy-Duty Metal Twist-and-Turn Oleo Retracts
The upgraded landing gear features full-metal, twist-and-turn servoless retracts paired with functional, spring-loaded Oleo-style suspension struts. It makes taking off and landing on grass runways a total breeze.
Integrated Electromagnetic Bomb Release
The Durafly P-40N V2 retains the popular electromagnetic bomb drop system . With the flick of a switch on your transmitter, you can release the included ordnance for an extra dimension of interactive fun.
Lightweight EPO Foam Construction
We used a new, lower-density EPO material to reduces overall weight while maintaining the super smooth surface finish and fine scale panel lines Durafly is famous for.
Reliable Power system-and it sounds good!
We retain the rock-solid Durafly 3536 900KV brushless outrunner and Durafly 45A ESC. Experience the ironic propeller "howl" during high-speed passes.
Functional Scale Split Flaps
Molded split flaps deliver authentic drag and lift generation. Deploy them to enjoy dramatically slower, more stable approaches and ultra-realistic landing sequences.
